My family and I (total party of 11) visited the restaurant on Sunday, March 3, 2024. We tried to contact the restaurant prior to arrival to join the waitlist as directed by their VM and we did not get an answer. We arrived at the restaurant, we were seated, received our meals, paid and left. Then we check our bank accounts, and three family members were hit with the same charge two times, another family member was charged three times and my husband and I were charged five times. As I told the manager, the food was not that good, but it certainly was not worth $326.00. The most frustrating part of all of this no one would pick up the phone and no one returned our phone calls. My husband called 16 times and no response. My niece called at 7:00 a.m. today and no answer. I went to the restaurant today and spoke to *******, the manager, and explained the situation to him. I also reached out to the area manager, ********************* and reported this issue. It is unacceptable for a customer not to receive an immediate response from a business when there is a problem. The message on their VM states they will contact you in 24 hours. If I had not taken time off from my job and wasted gas today to go to the restaurant, I would still be waiting on a call from management. The proof is in the picture.Initial Complaint

I posted a review for Another Broken Egg cafe in ********, **. I received a corporate business response saying to send an email to their social support team with my contact info so that the cafe can "make things right." So, I emailed and sent my email address and phone number to those people, but WEEKS have gone by with no response. I have even tried calling their corporate office mulitple times, but received no return call. I believe that the business is using a bot to give the public a false impression that they care. I also don't like that I was tricked into giving them my personal contact info.Companies should not be allowed to place fake responses to reviews to capture contact info and trick the public, giving false hope that they want to rectify poor service. I have been duped, and this matter needs to be addressed. I don't want other consumers falling for the same trick!
