We contracted Greenimage Stone and Lawncare to perform a comprehensive landscaping project on our property for a total cost of $16,500. An initial deposit of $11,000 was paid in May 2023, with the understanding that the job would be completed by the end of June 2023. However, Carlos, the individual responsible for executing the project, has failed to meet multiple deadlines and has left our property in a subpar state. Despite assurances that the project would be completed by July *** 2023, as of this date, the work remains incomplete. Specific grievances include: 1. Failure to install sod, leaving our front yard covered in exposed dirt. 2. Removal of stone from our front gates without completing the promised re-bricking, resulting in a conspicuous eyesore. 3. Failure to redo the stairs in front of the house in brick 4. Lack of delivery on promised shrubs to be installed beneath our front windows. These lapses are not only a violation of our agreement but have also led to considerable inconvenience and degradation of our property's appearance. Carlos has been consistently unresponsive to our attempts at communication. Despite promising to arrive on several occasions, he has failed to show up, further delaying the completion of the project and exacerbating our discontent. Given these circumstances, we are requesting a partial refund of $6,000. This amount would enable us to hire a new contractor to finish the job that Greenimage Stone and Lawncare has failed to complete.
