I have had to contact ****'s six times in the four years I lived at this house. Parts have been replaced each time. The most recent contact was on Sunday, 05/28. Went out for lunch, came back and the air had stopped running. The fan was on but it was not blowing cool air. I left a message for ****'s. Didn't hear anything back. The temps were mild at the time so I was giving him time to call me back. Didn't hear anything. Called back on Tuesday and spoke to the owner. He stated how busy he was and he would try to come by on Tuesday. He didn't show up. I have called several times since then. He stated he was working with the salesman to try and have the unit replaced. That conversation was on 6/2. I have heard nothing since then. I have spent $890.00 over the last 4 years in repairs. The previous owners purchased the unit on 4/14/17 for $4985. There is a 10 year warranty on parts. I can't be sure what is going on. I would like to hear from the owner and wonder if he plans on replacing the unit. I had no choice, I bought the part myself that needed replacing. It was $90.00 on ***** 2 different companies confirmed the problem-one trip charge was $79 and the other $109. We installed the faulty part ourselves this time so we could have air and save money. Way too hot in Georgia to go without AC. Thought you should know about this and how badly I have been treated. The cost to have the part replaced was $600 plus labor from one company and $789 for the other. If ****'s would have taken ownership, it would be less than $200.00 due to the warranty. I still think the unit should be replaced. Way too many service calls for the age of the unit and parts replaced each time.
