  VM Restoration (AVM) was hired by ************* and ServPro to do an insurance job due to a tree falling on our house. At the same time - since under construction we did additional work on our house in the three bedrooms, hall and kitchen that we had already started looking at options for While AVM was doing the insurance work at our house, they quoted us on the "personal" work for $22,000. Of this work $8400 was for painting the kitchen cabinets and $1,397.54 was for other associated items. Prior to starting the kitchen painting job, did ask what their process was and if similar to the other quotes I received - others outlined would sand down cabinets, put on prime coat, two paint coats and final durability coating. Also would oven pieces int eh shop bake for adherence and durability. When I asked if AVM process was comparable, the owner outlined they did not share their process but guaranteed their product. As team started painting, did not sand the cabinets, used a liquid sanding, did prime coat, two paint coats, no durability coating did all the painting at our house. At this point asked for a warranty in writing, but the owner of AVM kept saying he was good for his work and would not have been in business so long if he did not back up his work. We paid the final installment on December 5th. Unfortunately my worries came to fruition and have been battling this chipping and durability issue for months This week I asked the owner of AVM for a refund of the kitchen portion of the job. His response today was we did Offer to came back 3 times , and another last one if you need it .. we cant refund what you asked for , *** is been done almost a year . Thank you Do not need them to keep coming out the paint job is faulty/and needs to be redone. Also job was not a year ago and have documentation that the job wrapped up in December.Please let me know if this is the info you need and if can help in getting us a refund.

  We paint cabinets with prime and paint , they used their nails to get it off , of cause it will come off , also we came back three times to touch it up , all they want us to return the funds, that is impossible. Also they threat is a lot , out layer notified them already . At this point we gave them more than their expect . Please let them know. Thank you

  I am rejecting this response because  the job was so poorly done and the owner of the company  gave me his word  he would warranty the durability of the painted cabinets - and his workmanship  is not durable at all.  I continue to  ask  for a refund. Also the as outlined in the response - their  Lawer did not give me a response - they just asked for more info and most of the info  I had already sent and was available  to them except for some final info I have recently  obtained that supports receiving  a refund, I will present  at the appropriate  time if we cannot shortly come to an agreement that we will receive a full refund for this work. Please communicate  back that you (AVM Restoration) will be giving  a full refund t or will be forced to take next steps.

  PS: This is the second time that AVM Retortion has denied a refund and neither  time has offer any other resolution to  try to rectify the situation except to saying no to all requests .
