After hitting a deer, I brought my 2016 ****** ****** to Butler Collision the last week of February 2022. They called to update me several times saying the manufacturer would not release ONE part needed to complete the repairs on my truck. Finally, I contacted the ****** Manufacturer. They delivered the part in two business days. The problem is that the delivery was two or three weeks ago. The part was a front bumper, not a difficult part to replace. I am making payments on a truck I cannot drive. I just want my truck repaired in a timely manner. Butler Collision has had my truck for over 8 weeks.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/05/10) */ The customer's vehicle is in process of being repaired. There was a major part that was on order that took an extreme amount of time to get from the manufacturer. It was actually a structural part which is the fender apron. No repairs could have commenced until the arrival of the apron. The Butler South Collision Center is diligently trying to get the repairs done properly and return the vehicle back to the customer. Consumer Response /* (3000, 14, 2022/05/25) */ This is my second complaint with the same business about the same issue. Butler has had my truck since ******** *** 2022, that's over 13 weeks. I just want my truck back. My next step is to contact my lawyer. Finish the job Business Response /* (4000, 19, 2022/06/03) */ Customer came to the repair facility on *** and reviewed his vehicle with the shop manager at which time he was according to his words understanding of the parts delays that have held up his repairs, as he was told then without parts, we can't finish his vehicle, parts are a country wide issue in the collision repair business at this time. Consumer Response /* (3000, 21, 2022/06/03) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) While I am understanding of the issues with getting parts, I still am without my truck, which I am making payments on, and am, therefore, without transportation. If the issue is with receiving parts, and Butler Collision provides documentation of ordered parts, then I will remove this complaint with Butler collision and file a complaint with the proper business, which may be ****** motor corporation. Business Response /* (4000, 26, 2022/06/20) */ The consumer received his vehicle on June 8th, which was his desired resolution to get his vehicle back.
