      I was late on one payment, and they turned off my service. They said I would have to pay a deposit and wait 4 days to turn my service back on. This company should not be in business. Choose any other option beside these crooks. I will find a different provider as soon as I can. I hope this company will Sur come to its treatment of customers and collapse on itself with misery as it handed to their customers. Anybody who works for this organization should be ashamed of themselves for the pour costumer service. Companies like this who prey on people for a profit are doomed to their own demise.

      As soon as my contract is up, or possibly before I am canceling! I can see in the reviews EVERYONE experiences the same nonsense with Scana cutting off their gas without any notice for one missed bill- which was due to the dying of my mother! Literally. I was sidetracked dealing with my mother in the hospital and ultimately passing- so. I missed my bill. Never have I missed a bill in 4.5 years, but Scana came and cut off my gas after lying to me that they sent me two letters via mail warning me. Don’t ask me why the guy who shut it off couldn’t ring my door bell and forewarn me? Scana did nothing for my inconvenience they caused me on top of the already very stressful situation I was facing. What they are doing seems illegal. And I am going to look into that further. I have been without heat, hot water, a stove and the ability to shower or wash clothes or dishes for 2 days. I have 3 young children. This company is disgusting charging people an extra $225 to rehook their gas which never should have been turned off to begin with. People can live on their homes without paying a mortgage for years but they cut your gas off for one missed bill! Disgraceful. I hope everyone drops this pathetic company and puts them out of business. All the did was blame ******* *** but they have nothing to Do with it. If you’re thinking of using Scana energy for your residence I’d rethink it!

      I begged scana to reconnect my gas sooner as a baby was in the home...I was not able to get it done and we waiting all weekend for the gas to be turned back on but anything for there $150 connect fee.

      I will NEVER do business with Scana again. On 11/**/21, I completed a transfer on my Scana account for my new address on 12/*/21. Upon completion of my transfer I received a new account number for the new address. I gave the new leasing office the new account number on same day. Fast forward to 1/**/22 - I was contacted by the new leasing office stating they received a bill for my unit and that I needed to transfer my services immediately. I spoke to a Scana Representative who told me that I hadn't completed a transfer and although a new account was set up for the new address. They refused to bill the apartment and told me that I was responsible for a bill dated 12/*/21 -1/*/22 and 1/*/22-1/**/22 which I haven't received this bill as of yet but was told I would be responsible for it as well. I'm also paying a gas bill for ******* ******* at my new address for both of the same billing dates above. I spoke with a manager Kayla who stated that she did see where I did a transfer but she was not sure what happen in Internet Sales dept. My transfer was not completed due to an error in Internet Sales but they are not taking accountability and leaving me (the customer) to pay for their error. I will definitely be filing a complaint with the Commission office.
