July 12, 2022, we gave a check to Old Hat Chimney Service, ********************************************************* for $475.00 as half the price for a new chimney cap to replace our old cap. We have not heard from Old Hat since that time and they will not answer any phone calls. As senior citizens on a fixed income we cannot afford to lose this money. We do not know what we can do to contact Old Hat. We have gone to their location, and it is never open. What else can we do to get our money back or get the chimney cap we paid for? I would like to report that Old Hat has responded and completed the required work as of 8/15/22 so the complaint has been resolved
and no further action is required by BBB.
