So i was referred to 404 Computer Repair to have my phone fixed. The screen was cracked and the bezel was scratched so I purchased the parts to have the repair done. ******, the owner agreed to do the work and took it on himself. After stringing me on for several weeks he claimed to finally have it done. The first it wouldn't turn on. After several more weeks he called me again and it was done. I took the phone to go activate it again, paying a second activation fee just to find out the signal didn't work. He said he would fix it but when he figured out he couldn't he said he would file an insurance claim and compensate me for a new one. He asked me for my address and social and said he was going to have a check sent to my house with a large amount of money because he was going to claim several other made up phones and that when the check came in I'd get my portion of the money. After stringing me on with that story for another couple of weeks he said that they rejected the claim when he really never had insurance or put a claim in to begin with. I have the receipts and for all the parts for my phone that was purchased but all transaction between me and the owner were done cash under the table, which admittedly is my fault for agreeing to and now i cant prove i ever actually did business with him specifically. I paid him 250$ for the work and he gave me 200$ back. In the end i lost out on nearly 600$ worth of parts, the 50$ in labor he never refunded me, the several activation fees for my phone and the phone itself. I was hoping he would admit that he did the damage to my phone and compensate me for it but that never happened.

I WISH I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE (-) STARS! SCAM! Please run away because ****** the owner of this business and this business 404 ***************************** phone repairs is a Fraud and will SCAM you out of your money. As you can see I have attached photo proof. I called a month agoto have them service my MSI laptop display panel (Screen) because it as destroyed in which he say he could replace. He said the process should take a week and only 2hrs once he sources the laptop screen replacement. On November 12th I paid via apple pay enabled through my bank account on my iPhone device. A month of excuses went by The replacement is taking longer to arrive Hes backed up with repairs and the last straw the replacement screen was delivered but when he opens the box it was cracked. I had to retrieve my laptop (still broken) and demand a refund. He had trouble initially placing my refund back his POS saying Refund error and then after me urging another attempt he had me tap my phone to his POS device similar to how he purchasing process went and rendered a receipt (image below) Please beware Apple advised to me that this is a fraudulent receipt. I am now attempting to retrieve funds directly through claims department from my bank after attempting to retrieve refund again from him which he denied. I will be reporting this corrupt business not only to Better Business Bureau but on every review and alert my ******* fans online through social media about this fraudulent black owned business that is robbing individuals such as myself during the holiday.
