In July 2023, we had Georgia Drainage Specialists come to install drains, grate and sod our yard. In large areas of the yard, the sod died and did not take. We strictly followed all agreements listed in the contract with the company regarding lawn care and maintenance. We contacted the company and the owner (*********) assured us that she had a warranty and that she would address the issue. After numerous texts, she stopped replying and has not responded to emails or calls regarding the repairs/replacement of the sod. She assured us that the company was insured and that the damages would be repaired. Currently, the website for the company has been taken down and to date we still have not received a response from the company.Initial Complaint

Georgia Drainage Solutions installed two French drains in our yard, regraded, and planted sod. The drainage is not working, the sod is dying due to the drainage problems, and the company disappeared and deleted their website. They haven't replied to any emails. They specifically said that our sod was under warranty but haven't provided any warranty information or contact. This company is a scam.Initial Complaint

This past summer we had drainage work done on our yard by GDS. During this work they re-routed one of our French drains connecting it to one running along the opposite fence line. However in doing this they routed it through a grate/drain meant to divert water away from a newly builyt studio space. Ever since having them out, whenever there is substantial rainfall **************** floods. My wife contacted them and they asked us to provide videos we took, which we did via their website as requested. They then disappeared leaving us high and (not so) dry with inadequate drainage that is more problematic than when prior to them coming out to work on our yard.Initial Complaint

Unfortunately, I have attempted to contact the company several times and they not returned my calls (3). When installation was done it was stated to me that some type of "glue" was going to be administered for help hold rock and mulch in place. That was not done and now I have one particular area where rocks and mulch have washed away and the landscape plastic is very visible of which I sent them photos. Terribly disappointed with all the money invested and not even a phone call to replace / repair which I had been told they would. I really thought we had a great working relationship.Business response

We have spoken with *******. We were going through some lawsuit stuff that required us to temporarily pause business. We are scheduled to go out and fix the path and apply rock glue on 8/12. She made us aware that she was going to remove the complaint and understood what was going on because we have been transparent with her about the lawsuit from the beginning. It is a non-compete against one of the owners and it has been resolved.
