Terrible customer service. Don't use them for termite bond/ services. ******** ****** that works at *********** office is extremely rude, horrible communication and even worse customer service then I have experienced in a very long time. I will be telling everyone I know to NEVER use Northwest for any type of pest treatment. Extremely , extremely disappointed!!!!!!!!!Review from Taylor M

I am conflicted. I want to use NW Exterminators for my new home because I used them for my previous home, had great service and results from a fantastic technician-****, BUT, the billing department leaves a lot to be desired. I pay for the year in advance because I dont like people taking money out of my bank account or using my credit card. My contract year seemed to get shorter each year. The time came to sell my house, I let them know I wouldnt be renewing and kept them abreast of the progress plus to see what services would transfer to new owner. When a closing date was set, I let them know, again, that I wouldnt be renewing my services. This is when I find out that they had raised their price mid year w/o notification and that they excepted me to give them more money before I could close out my account even though I had already paid up front for that year. Finally got that resolved BUT 3 months later the billing department contacts me again for payment. Thankfully I save all documentation and customer service is helpful, its just their billing department that is preventing me from using them again. Did not care for the laxidaisical bee tech nor the attic inspector either but for termite/pest control technician gave outstanding one-and-done service so Im conflicted and still trying to decide.Review from Theresa W

Do not use this company! They do not stand behind their termite service agreement which I have been paying for annually for over 10 years! Now I have a termite problem and the pile of termite debri is " not enough evidence" of a problem - bet if I was a new customer it would be enough to tent my house. Just had Northwest Exterminating Company to spray for spiders. A super nice young man named ****** came out to my house he called me ****************************************************************************************************** know what he was going to do then he went about spraying our house. Came back let me know he had sprayed and told me in 2 weeks if I saw a spider to call they would come back. Since 2011, I have used *********************** Pest Control & later Northwest Exterminating Company, in ******, ** office. Service has been excellent for both termite inspection and pest control. **************** has been excellent and professional. Recently, I called Northwest Exterminating for service in ************* for a ant problem. NW had serviced this location several years ago. Apparently, an office other than ****** location, made my appointments for service. The entire process was confusing and eventually I cancelled appointment, due to poor customer service, scheduling, and total confusion. I would not recommend the Ooltewah branch of NW Exterminating Company.Review from Colette Alls A

I purchased a home this year and the builder already had a termite contract with this company so it was a no brainer to use them for pest control . The technician was great , but the office who handles the scheduling was horrible. At times I wouldn't know until the last minute the tech was coming on a that day. I also didn't feel the product they were using was effective for the ant issue we were having. The final straw for me was when I looked at my credit card transactions and saw that I was billed 3 times 1 day apart. Immediately contacted the ****************** on 11/20/2023 , was told it will get sent to a manager and submitted to billing for a refund. Called them back last week after seeing no refund. Get promises for a call back by the rep ******** and I end up having to call back for follow up. Spoke with her yesterday to check on the refund as she did not call me back prior. I asked to cancel the service as they are to incompetent to process a refund. The response was billing say they processed it, but they will process it again. I also completed a form this morning to have my service canceled. Find another company !!Review from Tamra T

Our long term exterminating company sold to Northwest Exterminating. Service fell off immediately, service tech spending only 9 minutes in our home to exterminate the entire **** square foot home. This happened twice, a service tech was then sent to do a call back service. Immediately after this service call we discovered my husbands vintage Rolex was gone. No one else was in our home, only him. I called to cancel and NO one asked why. If I had read these reviews first I never would have continued with them.Review from Krystal W

I would give a 0 if I could for this company. I called the nearest local office and asked to have my service cancelled and at the same time I texted STOP to stop receiving text from the company. The technician came out anyway and says he was not told. No service was provided due to me telling him not to service due to my cancellation. I received another text from the company after their hours of operation saying it was imperative I reach out to them that same day. I reached out to the number on the text (***************, ** office) and spoke with *****. She had a very arrogant attitude letting me know I was not allowed to cancel. I let her know again I was canceling the service, told their tech not to service my home, and expected not to be charged. She told me she was emailing another office to have the area manager to call me. I did receive a call from ***********************, I had to say hello twice because all I could hear was laughter. Once she realized I could hear her and the other person she became hostile from the beginning and told me they would be continuing my service and I could cancel afterwards. I explained that I expected my service to be canceled now and not to be charged for any service. She would not let me talk even though I asked her to stop talking over me so I could explain. The company changed their chemicals, raised the price, and went to a quarterly service. Their chemical composition does not work. I called in between scheduled services for someone to come out due to having some issues. No one ever came out. I was forced to go to ******* to buy spray for my home which worked great and was less expensive. She would not listen. She sent an email shortly afterwards of someone elses full contract with their address, precise diagram of the home with all available entry points, and other sensitive information. This is a HUGE breach of privacy! Poorest quality service and lack of concern for their customers privacy. This is a terrible company!Review from Allie M

I am very upset with this company. My family and I live in a home with my sister. My sister has an account with this **********************. I just found out, when my sister received a collections notice, that my name somehow got listed on the account. I called to find out how I was added and to have myself removed, as I am in no way financially responsible for this service. I was transferred to collections where I was advised that I cannot be removed because I had signed an agreement. I provided my email address to obtain a copy of the supposed "agreement" that I had signed without knowledge. The document was presented to me to sign in the absence of my sister, since she was at work, and I was told that it was acknowledging that the bug comes to our home. I was told to write my name beside hers (to indicate that I am authorized to let him in the house when she is not here) and sign. It was never stated that this THE AGREEMENT CONTRACT. And they NEVER had my sister sign anything, even though she is the only that set up the account,made the payments, and had all communications with them. They have only her contact info. Because it is HER account. Now, I am financially liable because I was tricked into signing that document. I had no idea that the bill was even unpaid, as I was told by the account holder (my sister) that she paid it. Now it is almost $400 and apparently there is no way to remove me. This is VERY unprofessional. Someone should have fully disclosed to me what needed to be signed and what that meant. They also should not allow people to just "write in" on a contract and accept it as true without acknowledgement also from the account holder. Had I been advised that the document was the contract, I would have NEVER wrote my name or signed, but instead I was told that it was an "acknowledgement of service". I was told that if it wasn't at that time then our service would be cancelled. I feel that I was taken advantage of for being naive and vulnerable.
