I was recommended Bardi from a respected independent plumber whom I use fo all of my properties. I requested the 93$ service w camera inspection. I made the technician aware of the issue. We went from 0-$1800 to jet and $650 to snake. This was done with out placing the camera in. I can rent a snake from ********** or Lowes for $65, better yet can replace all my PVC and sheet rock for $250. This company pricing is a joke wonder how many old people fall for this.**** B 0 Stars

The is company is advertising that no one beats their price. I had them give me a price for repairing a sewer pipe. $88 for the service call and they gave me a price of $1075 which was insane. I just paid the $88 and got another plumber who did the job for $535. I should have known not to deal with them in the very beginning when they required me to sign a contract. They are doing that most likely as they may overcharged some people and they refused to pay and probably rightfully so. I would never do business with this company.

We are sorry you feel your quote was overpriced. Our pricing is in line with our competitors in the market. We are glad that you were able to get your pipe repaired at a price you are comfortable with.

Bardi has been a major disappointment. We solicited 3 companies and Bardi was the most expensive and we thought the best, so they got the job. The Carrier Unit they installed is not working. It does not cool our home adequately. We had 5 technicians come out to tell us why. The first one couldn't figure it out. The second one said that there was a leak and he fixed it-and added more refrigerant. So right there it tells us, it was installed incorrectly. But, after that REPAIR-on a BRAND-NEW UNIT, it still didn't cool properly. So, a third technician came out and said that the unit was not leveled correctly. So, he leveled it and it still didn't work?? So, our unit was installed with a leak, and it wasn't leveled. The fifth technician did nothing and basically said live with it. We have suffered hot days and nights during this heat spell. We have lost sleep as we are used to sleeping with the thermostat at 68. Most evenings it was 71. It remained at 71 long after the temperatures had gone down in the evening. Our upstairs AC works great and is original to the house. Unfortunately, we can't sleep upstairs as the blower is noisy and above the bedroom. We seriously regret hiring Bardi. They have a great salesman, but that's all we can say. We're thinking our unit is a ******. Hopefully this will be resolved as summer is just starting. This is the first negative review I have written, and I wish I didn't feel the need to do it. But we have suffered and it's not fair. We trusted Bardi to take care of our AC and they didn't. And this has been going on for 17 days. We have contacted Carrier, and they are setting up a review to find out what is wrong. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

We understand how frustrating it can be when your system is not doing what you want it to. After your April installation, we checked the unit in June we found a leak in the suction line and repaired it under warranty. It was reading at system specs when the technician left. The technician also advised that under 68' or below is very hard for a system to keep up with in this high heat. NOTE: Most air conditioning systems can only handle a 20' difference between the outside and inside air temperatures. We then sent another technician out to check the system and they found the system is staying at 71' with the outside temperature at 99'. Per your request, we sent a senior technician out to check the system. He found the thermostat read 69' and was satisfied at that temperature. Again, the system is reading within specs of the manufacture and working properly. At this time, we see you have reached out to the manufacture, Carrier, for their recommendations regarding getting the system to 64'. We would be happy to have one of our technicians come when you have that appointment set up as well. Again, we are sorry that this experience has not been the best for you and your family but we are here for you and want you to be comfortable in your home.

I had a whole new HVAC system installed for $13k in my home on Nov 2023. Yesterday it was 100 degrees and what does the system do? Shut down!!!! It has not even been a year yet and we havent even gotten through the SUMMER OF 2024!!!! Talk about frustration!!! Bardi has a line in their moto saying they provide FIRST CLASS SERVICE, if not, they will MAKE IT RIGHT!!! But to install a system and it go out in 7 months is Absurd!!!! Pets and small children sweating and panting!!!! They guarantee SAME DAY service????? How is that the case when by the time they arrive when everyone is suffering from heat stroke, 48 hours later!!!??? I am appalled and HIGHLY upset!!!! I have an appointment today! And I pray they show up because this is a situation I wouldnt wish on my worst enemy. Im so sick of these commercial SHARK companies robbing people of our money!!!! It has been soooo unbearable these last couple of days!!!! I didnt even want to leave a star for them PERIOD!!!!!!! But I couldn't submit this complaint without one!!! I paid off the $13k charge in four months!!! They gave me a 10 year span to pay it off, if I had of paid based upon that plan I wouldve came out $24k total, thats with INTEREST ACCUMULATING!!! Theres no way they can continue this type of conduct for their unreliable, state of the art equipment!!

I called this company to check my outside A/C condenser. Only blowing cool air. They came out the same day. The techs name was ****. He told me that my coils was very dirty and that was the main problem and it was a little low on freon. So I asked him to clean them. He said he couldn't because it was an older unit that requires R-22 refrigerant. All the newer units use R410A now. And if he cleaned the coils, it would freeze up. And he said no one works on R-22 systems anymore. My best bet was to replace the unit with a new one. Or if I was lucky. I might find a mom & pop local company that maybe still worked on them but he doubted it. Charged me ***** for a service call..I have a very sick wife and it was about to get into to 90's. And I don't have the money for a new system.I called my neighbor who is now retired that was in the heating &air business fir 30 yrs. I told him what the Bardi tech said. And he said he is full of c*** about the unit freezing up if the coils was washed. So I cleaned the myself. And he was right. The unit did not freeze. I spent 2 days straight calling and finally found a local guy who said he did work on units that require R-22. He came out the next morning with some R740 that can be put with R-22 but he checked the mfg tag first and said look this unit is a R410A system. And said if he had of put what he had in the system it would have destroyed it!! He asked didn't the idiot from Bardi check the mfg. tag? I said apparently not. He just wanted to have someone get in touch with me about a new unit! So he went back to his shop and brought back the R410A. My unit took 3 lbs. of freon and it's colder than ever. And he only charged $180.00 I'll never call on Bardi Heating and Air again. And would recommend no one else does either.

I have a contract for regular maintenance, Spring and Fall. Bardi called and scheduled my ************** several weeks out for a specific day, anywhere from 12-5pm. The day arrived, I waited, they never showed. I spent my day waiting around the house and at 4:05pm I received a call that the tech could not make it. No reasons. Bardi will text you when the tech heads your way but you rarely have more than ***** minutes notice so you need to stay close. Your day is committed to the house. When I showed my frustration, I got a call later with an offer of $50 credit toward a future service. So, I guess my time from 12pm-5pm is worth $50. I wonder what Bardi charges for 5 hours?????? They charge more than that for the maintenance call. I have had hefty repair bills over a couple years from Bardi so it's not like they have not profited from me but I guess I am not worth much.

This is an observation of Bardi Heating and Plumbing out of ********, **, which serves the greater Atlanta area. First, I wish to point out that the technician, Mr. ************************** they sent to our residence, was polite and professional in every respect. The issue was that a kitchen sink, and another sink on the back porch, using the same main drain, were both draining slowly, after an un-measured amount of water filled the main drain line. Bardi has frequently advertised on television of un-stopping any main drain line for $93. I called their office on April 8, telling them it was not urgent, yet, so they signed me up for the afternoon of April 9,****************** looked at the lines in my basement, as I pointed out which pipes were involved with the problem, then went up into the kitchen with his tablet, and began punching some boxes on his screen, which I could not see well enough to read. Then he calculated and quoted me a price of $453 to snake the drain. I did have the option of declining the work, or proceeding, and chose the latter. The entire procedure, including invoice and billing took within minutes of one hour. He said he went down about 25 feet with the shake, into the drain, but he had no way of knowing as there was no measuring meter on the device, nor were any measurements taken. It was as all guesswork. My main drain is about 119 feet long and there is extra footage from the house itself, out to the city sewage system, located in the next-door neighbors side yard, so he did not get into any of that.I realize that Bardi is out there to make an honest buck, but charging 4 & 1/2 times their advertised charge is being plain greedy, or avarice if you prefer.

******* we understand the frustration that comes along with unexpected repairs. We do offer a $93 drain special, but this is has specific guidelines including the home must have a clean out. When that is an option to resolve the problem ************** will offer that. If the technician evaluates the problem and there is no clean out or that is not the affected drain, they provide the best option for resolution. We are sorry for any confusion regarding this. If you are still having an issue or would like to speak about this further please contact ************* at **********. We always want to be there for our customers when needed. Our core values include honesty and respect, and we want to make sure you have been taken care of.

Bardi has attempted to scam me into buying an entire new hvac system. Upon calling a different company to inspect my system I discovered Bardi had intentionally disconnected my hvac system and claimed my unit was no longer in working condition. This intentional act done by Bardi was highly unethical and inappropriate! I trusted Bardi over the years to deliver honest inspections and services. However I know now that sales is your only goal. Quoting me for a 12k system instead of simply telling me there was nothing wrong with it was the last straw. I will be reporting Bardi to the BBB for this unethical act to help other people to avoid being scammed into buying something they dont need from a sales driven company. Bardi has no integrity or respect to its customers and should be ashamed of what transpired over the past few visits to my home. The company I contacted found NOTHING wrong with my system and simply reconnected what BARDI intentional disconnected. Now my system is working and I spent 0.00 dollars for it. Foul practice and services. I will be cancelling my services with this company moving forward.

******, we are saddened to hear about your account of events and would love the opportunity to speak with you about your experience and the condition of your equipment. Honesty and Integrity are part of our core values that we take very seriously. That being said, we want to ensure your system is prepared for the upcoming Summer. Last Summer, your AC unit had a leak where we replaced 3 pounds of refrigerant at no cost. During this year's cooling maintenance in February, we informed you that the compressor was reading as overworked due to the same leak along with a rusted coil. In March, you called us back because the system wasn't cooling properly. ************** found that because of the refrigerant leak in the coil, the compressor was not working at the correct capacity and the defrost board was no longer sending 24 volts to the compressor. We are proud to be able to give our customers options, including repair and replacement. Again, we hope that you allow us to discuss your account and want to emphatically state that we are not in the practice of intentional lying and manipulation. We do want your system to run properly for the integrity and comfort of your home.

Bardi called me numerous times (I was basically harassed) to schedule a preventive maintenance, I finally gave in and allowed for it. Yes, I did buy a maintenance package but that was my mistake. "I didn't feel comfortable fixing something that isn't broke." Now days you can't trust individuals to be honest. What happen is one of their tech's came out do the preventative maintenace and my machine was working perfect - no issues. Before he left, the unit was going into defrost mode while outside temps were over 50 degrees (On valentines day). The unit wasn't going into defrost mode until he placed hands on my it. Now of course it would go into defrost mode auto when it was suppose to and most definitely colder than 50 degrees. It now goes into defrost mode all day (numerous times within a hour), regardless of the temp. Their customer service rep says they are not responsible and I can't prove he damaged the unit. However, the unit had no problems at all before their arrival. Be aware of using Bardi as when a problem as this comes up. There isn't a manager to care for concerns like this, you're on your own. I will move on to the next HVAC company to handle my maintenance needs and fix the issue they left me with. The customer service rep ***** claimed she is a manager and I WILL NOT receive a refund due to me cancelling my agreement. I didn't ask for a refund but she was being really rude with me. Beware people!!!

We are truly sorry you feel harassed. We scheduled your prepaid Heating Maintenace per your Friends of Bardi Plan. This appointment was on 2/14/24 and the technician performed the heating service and this does require that they turn they system off and check everything. This was working when the technician left. You called us on 2/19/24 to advise the ******** mode was not functioning correctly. Since we were just out and we strive to provide quality service, a senior technician was scheduled for 2/21/24 at no cost and a $50 credit was placed on your account. This way he could come and check the system out and see what was making this happen. Upon arrival the technician discovered the defrost board was malfunctioning and the system would defrost before start up every cycle. This was also advised per the knowledge and experience of the technician, that this is not something someone could have made the defrost board do. At this time, you advised you wanted to cancel your Friends of Bardi Plan and we normally cancel at renewal only when under contract, so you can get all your benefits from the plan. You stated you wanted this canceled right then and understood no refund could be offered. We sent the cancelation email within the hour as requested. We will be happy to assist you further and even reinstate your Friends of Bardi Plan to the end of your term if you would like. We again are truly sorry the defrost board has a defect and would love to assist you.

I had a leak in October 2023. I paid this company over $3000.00 to repair a water line. They did not give me a detailed bill of the repairs. I still have a leak in my home. They wanted another $4000.00 to install a new water heater and $1200 to install a toilet. I have called several times and begged for a detailed bill so the Clayton *********************** will adjust my bill. Bardi says they will send a detailed bill but haven't yet. I've been asking since November. My last phone call to them was 2/06/24 and I still don't have a detailed bill. One employee told me the repairman who worked on my waterline got fired and was not qualified. I would never use this company again. They like to take advantage of elderly people. I guess my only option is to get an attorney.

**** I am sorry to hear you are having a plumbing problem. I do show we assisted you 10/5/23 with a water service installation and installed a water line. This does have a warranty if you are having any issues with this work. We also were called out on 12/29/23 for an estimate to replace toilets. I will be more than happy to get you a copy of your invoice as requested. We do flat rate pricing, but I can have the two services noted on the invoice for you. We can always get a plumber out to check the work if you are having an active leak. Please contact me at ********** or email me at ***************************************
