Received a letter stating that this company is a debt collector on behalf of Thrifty Rental. I called Thrifty Rental to confirm and they do not even use this company to report claims to. Per Thrifty, I do not have an outstanding balance and I did not return a car with damages.

      Complaint: 16992215

I am rejecting this response because: I never rented a car from "Dollar Thrifty". I need this removed from my account immediately. This is false and absolutely unacceptable.  Whoever is providing this information, with my address, is committing a crime. You will be hearing from my attorney.

      Sincerely,

I received a debt collection notice from First Financial for $95 from ************************ for Enterprise Rent-a-Car. I contacted Enterprise, and they confirmed that I have no debts with them, and that the account number given on the collection notice was also incorrect. Additionally, my name is misspelled on the notice (or different than how Enterprise has it in their system), and the notice was sent to my old address. Enterprise has my new address, and all transactions made with Enterprise this past year were from the new address.I believe this is a scam and I do not want to respond to the notice directly as I'm concerned they will try to elicit my information, but in the event that it could affect my credit score, I'd like BBB to help intervene.

On December 9, 2021, *************** hired First Financial Asset Management *** to have me cover the balance on an insurance loss of the amount of $3,826.83. I called to dispute the validity of this claim and refused to do so after continuously telling me I have to pay it or else I get my license suspended. I kept calling to seek different arrangements and got turned off once again. Eventually, I gave in and called to see how I can pay a reduced amount and gave them my card info to end this burden once and for all, but something felt wrong, as they kept asking me for identifiable information. After I gave them my card number they diluted me into calling my bank account and giving them a heads up that a transaction of the amount of $3,250 was going to process within the next hour. Initially, this felt like a total scam and the transaction did not go through for some given reason. The following day I kept receiving phone calls from their contact office but I refuse to answer, as FDCPA does limit the number of calls a debt collector can do. My experience with FFAM has been of high aggressive pressure and intimidation. This unethical company needs to stop this continued harassment and I need this collection agency to immediately dispute this fraudulent claim.

I'm submitting this complaint against FIRST FINANCIAL ASSET MANAGEMENT *** due to their total disregard for my consumer rights under the FCRA/FCBA/FDCPA. For several months now, I've been disputing inaccurate and unverifiable information showing up on my credit report by this company that is supposedly in relation to a **** from ******************* for the amount of $261.00, from April 2018. I have requested intimate information about the alleged account, but I have yet to receive anything. This company continues to electronically verify this "ghost" account without providing any evidence, such as a complete accounting of the record, as required by law. Im addition, I have faxed and emailed them advising this **** is inaccurate as I had ******** at the time and Wellstar should have billed them. Furthermore, Wellstar has no record of this invoice. This company refuses to provide it, which is not right and is not compliant with the FCRA/FDCPA. I'm absolutely fed up. It's causing me enormous mental and financial distress. Please help! I hope to hear from you soon.

This is the second time (12/13/2021) that they are claiming that I have a collection balance from Prisma Health. First time was 11/16/221. I contacted multiple departments from Prisma and they show nothing is in collections and that everything was paid on time. I have asked for more information about this from them but since I refuse to give them my info, they will only tell me it is related to Prisma Health. And when I ask them to mail something to show the debt and information about it they say okay and nothing is ever received. I am hoping that this does not show on my credit report since this has not been verified as accurate. But from reviews it seems like this is normal for this company and seems really shady that they are able to get away with this. My previous address from when myself or my daughter *************************** went to Prisma was **************************************************
