I was wrongfully charged a copay of $45 at the time of the appointment (2/3/2023), despite notifying the office that I had previously checked with my insurance company. (BCBS). In network, telehealth visits were still being covered at 100% and I told them this multiple times after double checking with BCBS. When I called to inquire about reimbursement, I was notified to contact their billing department, which told me that I was indeed overcharged, but they couldnt do anything. They referred me to contact the office again, which wasnt effective. I called multiple times and wrote them a message on the patient portal, but received no help. Im basically being passed back and forth between a billing company with a ******** area code and the physical doctors office in *******, **. No one seems concerned with helping me at all, and Ive been given conflicting information multiple times from both the billing and the doctors office. ********** also reconfirmed the fact that I was unjustly charged this amount. I would like a full reimbursement from this establishment, as I will not be returning to them. I do not want it credited to my patient account or placed towards my deductible, or any other nonsense they come up with to refuse repayment for this wrongful charge.Business response
