Meridian came to fix our bay window that had water damage on September 23, 2021, they started to remove portions of the damaged area which they did not complete. Large portions of the wood around the windows were removed, a cover board of wood was nailed to the bay window, a plastic cover was placed over the wood they nail to our house, leaving it exposed stating they would return. They told us that they needed to order windows and would come back to finish the job. Four weeks later somebody from their company came to measure the window (which was done the 1st time they came) but no work was done at all. Now it is going into the 5th week and we have not heard from Meridian. We are still waiting for them to come and complete the work they start.....no one from Meridian has shown up. Also, the worker left wood with nails and other trash laying in our yard that was not removed. We texted Meridian Restoration to inform them of this and they said someone would come and remove it. But it was a week later when it was removed.Meridian has received a partial payment of $609.10 from our insurance company USAA and the rest of the money will be paid upon completion ($1000). We are very dissatisfied with Meridian Restoration, *** and the service rendered. They were very dishonest about when they would return and complete the work. Also, we have not received a call from them since they started the work. Now our house looks so ugly, work uncomplete, unpainted wood exposed, plastic cover over a large portion of our bay window with blue tape around the taped area. What they have done, and the way they left our house is embarrassing to us and the whole community. They have not acted in good faith and honored their commitment to finish the work started 5 weeks ago.We would like Meridian Restoration, *** to come and complete they work they start

      To whom it may concern,

************** wanted us to replace certain items the was not in his original approved scope from his insurance company.  He refused Meridian to continue work on his original scope till his insurance approved ****************** expanded scope.  In conversation with ************** and his insurance company, his insurance company denied the expanded scope of work that he was requesting.  Once this was denied, ************** would not allow Meridian back on site to finish the job.  ****************** insurance company has released Meridian Restoration from any further responsibilities associated with this claim per ****************** insurance adjuster.

      Sincerely,

      Meridian Restoration, Inc.

Over a year ago I had water leaking from the unit above me and my insurance company sent Meridian out to check it out. I didn't know anyone to call so I said ok I'll use them. I had to move into a Motel for a month while they removed asbestos. ******* was in charge of the job and they moved my furniture into storage. 7 months later the job wasn't finished but my furniture was returned except for a TV console that was hand made exactly like I wanted it. I got estimates for a replacement from $2k to $4k. I only ask for $1500 and was promised I would receive it next week. Every week it was next week. I'm having surgery on Sept 1 and was promised before my surgery. Now ******* refuses to answer his phone and ignored all my messages and texts. I have nothing to put my TV on so I still have to stay in my bedroom. This was a 1 week project and it's been over a year with a pile of sheetrock still piled up. I just want to be done with this but I'm not signing that the job is finished until it is finished. I am a disabled senior and I feel like I'm being taken advantaged of. I have been lied to so many times by ******* I don't know what to do

Since complaint, we have revisited *********************** property to remove sheet rock and address workmanship issues.  At that time, she paid a final balance less a $3,443.73 credit applied to her account to cover the ** console.  This job has been completed and is closed.

I selected Meridian thru my homeowners insurance Meridian's scope of work was to replace the dining room, and partial living room floors where the leak had occurred. During initial inspection sub contractor with project manager present said that the rest of my hardwood floors would have to be buffed out to remove old wax build up so that everything would match. After completion of work everything looked good, but I mentioned to both Project manager and sub contractor what are those ripples/dimples/indentions in my floors (applies to entire floors that were buffed out) I received some stupid answer with a bunch of lies. Therefore I signed off on the work 07/30/2019 then a couple of months later the flooring that was replaced started coming back up project manager and sub contractor came back to take a look, and I was told by both that this was NORMAL, and it would lay back down in a couple of months (wood contacting/expanding) . I knew they were lying and gave them the benefit of doubt. I was correct in the fact they lied, because it never laid back down. Then covid hit and I had to stay away from everyone, because my mom has alzheimers, and dad has cancer. I knew I had a 5 year guarantee, and therefore waited until covid calmed down. During that period of time I noticed even more damage to the floors that they just buffed out.It would take me a while to figure out what has happened The rest of my hardwoods that were buffed out caused the individual wooden planks to be pushed/displaced into each other causing massive cracks, and in several cases the wood has come up, and this is the result of those dimples/indentions/ripples I spoke of.I expect fair compensation to replace all of my floors, and cover lodging costs while another company redo my floors. This is the only solution I will accept

We completed a flooring repair and sand and finish for **************** in summer of 2019. He contacted us several months later in the winter of 2020 about issues he had with the work that was completed. He had issues with gaps showing in the wood along with a few other, more minor concerns. The smaller concerns were addressed immediately, and painters were sent out to rectify any issues he had with the trim we installed. Our flooring vendor told him the gaps were from seasonal wood movement and should not be an issue. **************** then asked for a second opinion, so we had another flooring vendor come out. The second vendor agreed with the first vendor and said the gaps were caused by seasonal wood movement. We all agreed to wait until summer of 2020 to see if the summer humidity would solve the problem.

I am rejecting this response because: my floors are still in bad shape.  Meridian knew they messed up,  and I will always bad mouth this company until they fix my floors.  I've dropped Nationwide as my insurance carrier because they were all in together on this mess

      Sincerely,

      ***************************

To our knowledge, ******************** floors are not in bad shape.  Two separate flooring vendors have inspected his floors and confirmed no issues.
