On June 29th, we were sold a vehicle by ***** salesman, from America’s Car-Mart/Car-Mart of ******** . Exactly a few days later (July 3, 2022) the vehicle started overheating. As a result, my kids and I sat on the side of the road for hours waiting for **** to tow the vehicle back to Car-Mart of ******** and then to an autoshop of their choice. During this vehicle repair, it was stated the following repairs were completed “replaced hoses, changed oil, replaced oil filter, and topped fluids”. Even after this auto repair, the vehicle continued to have several issues. Almost daily, my husband had to make sure the fluid levels were correct due to fluids often leaking from the vehicle. Once again, around January 20th , the vehicle started overheating. We were informed by ******, manager of Car-Mart Of ********, that we had to provide a vehicle diagnostic due to our service contract. Therefore, we obtained a vehicle diagnostic, which we provided a copy to ******** the service parts personnel. The diagnostic stated, “Needs S/plugs & IGN. coil. Engine diagnostic stated “C/K light on Skip Run Bad”. The following repairs had to be completed “S/plugs and IGN. coil replaced”. However, a few days later, upon the vehicle being returned to us, immediately the vehicle’s AC continued to blow hot air. The Car-Mart manager, ****** informed us that the hoses had to be replaced. Exactly almost one month later (February 20th), the vehicle was still overheating again. As a result, my daughter was left in an unsafe area and stranded on the side of the road. It was towed once again by Car-Mart of ******** to another auto shop. ****** (manager) wrote on the service contract repair authorization, “vehicle is overheating. Sending to shop for a second diagnostic.” After waiting for a vehicle update for two weeks. We contacted Car-Mart of ******** and ****** was finally available to speak with us. We were eventually informed the auto mechanic was unsure of the issue(s) with the vehicle and will need more time to access the issue(s). More time passed and we did not receive a vehicle update from ******** service parts personeel or ******, the manager. Regardless of who my husband and I spoke with and we spoke with mostly everyone, we still did not receive an update on the vehicle. In order to receive a vehicle update, we had to start contracting the corporate office (Car-Mart Of America at ***** ********) on March 18, 2023 requesting to speak with the **** *******, for Car-Mart Of ********. Finally, on March 22th we spoke with the ******* concerning the lack of communication from the personnel including ****** and especially *******. We informed her that we still have not received any information concerning if the vehicle can be repaired or status of the vehicle from any staff that we spoke with since February 20th. After continuing to contact the corporate office, the *** on March 24, finally informed us that the vehicle ‘s gasket heads were the issue. As a result of ****** and ******* making the decision to repair the gasket head instead of replacing the engine, which had to be shipped to another auto shop to be removed and repaired before the original auto mechanic could repair the vehicle, we are still left without a vehicle for several weeks. After tirelessly contacting the corporate office and trying to have continuous conversations with ******* on April 1st, we completed a “contract modification agreement” in order to prevent a negative report on our credit report. Since, Car-Mart of ******** was still calling and requesting a payment. However, as customers, we had several challenges trying to receive any updates or status of the vehicle we are purchasing. Therefore, we are STILL experiencing a lack of professionalism and ineffective communication for the representatives of Car-Mart of ********. It is April 18, 2023 and we are STILL without a vehicle. Please Please assistance with the vehicle repairs.
