The vet is very transactional and doesnt care about customers or employees. Even though the process of putting our dog down with them was awful and heartless, thats not even the problem. The problem is we paid and asked for a snip of her hair and they cremated her and no hair. The vet tech apologized but the doctor ******* care less. I had to call back several times just to get that portion of my money back and the doctor just kept saying sorry. After numerous calls, he agreed (horrible bedside manner) but silence once I called to arrange payment details. I have been so nice this whole time but I finally lost my patience and disputed it. Dispute was declined because they sent in the receipt for what I paid but its ahead of time. They said I got what I paid for. Morally, this isnt right and I had high hopes for this vet. ************* are awful (yes we had to wait even though we were told we would a long time to put our dog down). I heard from a previous employer he was mean to his staff but we put that aside and gave him a chance anyway and now I know why they said that. I called to ask for the check to pay me back and instead weeks later got our dogs records in the mail. Ive been so nice but at some point a company needs to take responsibility and not put it on the vet tech to handle it. I understand mistakes happen. Im upset with how Dr. *** handled it. Now we are out money.

have had a horrible experience with ************ and his staff East Cherokee Veterinary Clinic First of all my dog went twice due to "kennel Cough" and on the second visit which was on a Friday before spring break, I was supposed to have been give meds for the week and I was not. Over the weekend, I left three messages, nobody got back to me, so I showed up at the office Monday am when they opened because my dog was worse and nobody called me back. I was greeted by the office manager, **** who informed me that there were no doctors there, they were all on spring break in the ********. Imagine your dog not eating for 8 days and being greeted while the dog suffered over the weekend for two days and being told that "We do not check messages over the weekend" due to work, life, balance. Then I was told there are no doctors there for a week. Can you imagine running your business this way? Then, I was ask why I didn't ask for blood work on the second visit.? Isn't that the doctors job to order it? The receptionist was answering the phone and was telling folks that called, "all our doctors are on spring break" acting very proud of the fact. They finally got a doctor on the phone and ordered blood work and she had pancreatitis and internal worms. When I asked why the answering machine did not have the information that they do not check messages on the weekend or at least say who the emergency doctor they use, I was told that they changed messages service and there is no bandwidth to sit on the phone with the service for two hours to change a message. Seriously, aren't we in the digital age and can't a new service be used if that is the case. I completely lost it. They finally found a doctor for two days that week and I had to go every day to drop off my dog for IV's and pick her up at 4:30 before they closed and you can imagine my ****. They actually charged me a "babysitting fee". I have heard nothing from them, not a call, not a credit on my ****. Nothing.
