Bad business...They came to do a maintenance on our refrigerator and never said if anything was wrong. They never gave us any paperwork. A day later our ice machine stop working. We have called many times to resolve this matter but they never called back!Ano Appliance Inc Response

On May 3rd, 2024, our technician visited the customer's address to perform routine maintenance on their unit. During the visit, no mechanical failures were identified, and the technician cleaned the condenser coil to extend the compressor's life.
A few days later, the customer contacted our office, alleging that the technician had damaged their ice maker. It is important to note that the technician did not touch the ice maker, as there is no maintenance required for an ice maker that is functioning correctly at the time of service.
The customer was informed that any part failure or repair needs to be addressed through a formal repair request, as parts cannot be ordered under a maintenance request. Despite this, the customer expressed unwillingness to pay the deductible to the warranty for a repair work order and insisted on a new ice maker being installed free of charge.
We have notified the warranty provider about this incident and the customer's inappropriate demands.Review from Evan A

In Feb., 2021, American Home Shield sent *** to repair my range. Two men came to my house to repair the rangethey seemed to be a bit confused when looking at the range which had a lot of high end/digital features. I didnt understand what they were saying because, when they spoke to each other, they spoke in a foreign language. They asked if I had the ranges manual, but I couldnt provide them with a manual because it was an electronic manual. They opened the front panel, and told me that they had to order a part which would take 2 weeks to arrive. I called them in 2 weeks, but they said the part didnt come in. A month later they came back and replaced a part which did not resolve the problem. I called them back several times, left messages, but no person answered their phone. When I called AHS to report the problem, I was told that *** was still waiting for another part. After going back and forth for approximately 4 months, AHS finally agreed to replace the unit. Those few months going back and forth took a lot of energy from me, and the effort on my part was stressful and time-consuming.I let it go and forgot about it until a week ago, when my rental units microwave oven was giving trouble. The tenants called AHS directly, and they assigned *** to repair the microwave. *** went to the house and repaired the unit, but in two days, the problem was back. When I heard about it, I called AHS immediately, canceled the follow up appointment with ***, and paid the deductible a second time in order to have another contractor go back and repair the unit. I just didnt want to take a chance on having my tenants go through what I had to go through in 2021. It was worth it to me paying the second deductible and getting reassigned to another repair service contractor.Ano Appliance Inc Response

We have not provided any service to this person for over year ago. Last interactions had happened ***** months ago when warranty work order customer start to behave dishonest and from our resolution specialist's words was trying to use warranty for their benefits to get some appliance upgrades for warranty costs. We do not wish to participate in such fraud like activity and do not wish to help anyone to brake law. So, we have been declining all requests from this ex-customer since April 2022. No technician is going to provide service to this person any longer. Our nature of business is to provide warranty repairs, so we do not have to take tips or money from customers and never do so.Review from V. W.

I wouldve put 0 stars if I could but I couldnt. The employees at Ano appliance inc are bunch of Liars!! My protection plan sent me their information as a service I had to use to repair my washer. When I picked the time and day that they sent to me to repair my washer. Ano appliance decided to change the date because they werent available the day of and secretary who answers the phone was rude and a B****! Because I told her to watch how shes talking and should be more professional when talking to customers!! I knew they would give me a hard time and I was right!!After 15 days of my claim the repair guy comes to look at my washer and tells me he doesnt have the part to fix it and he has to order the part for my tumbler which was the part that was broken !! Which took 3 weeks for him to come back and try to fix it and then goes and say its my computer board now. So he couldnt fix it and had to order that part. That was in February 2023 and its June 28th!! Finally I get ahold of assurance protection plan to speak to someone, only to find out that *** repair guy sent false reports to my insurance. Something that wont be covered even though my washer looks brand new. He said my appliance was out in the environment in bad conditions. My washer and dryer is covered daily after use and I take care of our products.Dont trust Ano appliance everyone! They arent reliable. be carefulAno Appliance Inc Response

Aloha, with all my respect to all parties involved I can say that we had most of our conversations recorded and monitored for quality purposes by quality control agency. We have investigated this call and communications regarding this case and did not find any issues from company side. Same time we would be happy to repair and service washer, but we had that coverage voided by warranty due to unit located outdoor behind the house. Outside appliances are not covered by contract. All customers should keep washers in laundry inside of their houses. Unfortunately, there is nothing we could do to help customer in such case.Customer Response

Sorry to say but you got the wrong information. My washer is located on the side of the house under an awning. Also we have our washer and dryer covered when it aint in use. So please speak the truth when trying to cover your basis thanks :)Review from Leni D

When my washing machine stopped spinning, my insurance company recommended Ano Appliance. They got on it right away and sent **** immediately. He came quickly, keeping me updated of his whereabouts until he got here. It did not take him long to find out that my pump had stopped working. They ordered a new one which came quickly. **** was here within hours of the moment the pump was delivered. The installation was fast and painless. Everything has been working seamlessly ever since. Ano Appliance and their technician, ****, were responsive, quick and knowledgeable. I am very satisfied.Review from Aaron V

***** Warranty sent out an ANO technician to trouble shoot our refrigerator that wasn't cooling. Technician was on property 2 hours and broke the tab off the plastic duct air cover ($83 part). Also, cut the wire harness making the fan unusable. Why is beyond me. I left my wife to see him out as I had to run to the bank. When I came home parts were still laying out.I tried to call the company multiple times and never received a return call.Needless to say we are out quite a bit of money.
