I paid $3076 for a product from this company. The package was sent through **** The package was damaged and had no contents inside upon delivery.Someone had stollen the items or this company made it look as if the items had been stolen. *** has taken responsibility of the damaged package and reimbursed the the shipper of the shipping coast. Hawaii rope chain has still not replaced the item I purchased nor have they reimbursed me of the money I spent. It has been 4 weeks and they are still ignoring this matter. I have spoken with them through email several times and they are not being cooperativeBusiness response

Customer is most likely committing fraud by lying that product wasn't in box. Regardless, insurance claim takes time and I did not get reimbursed yet so not sure how he is claiming *** reimbursed me when it's not even them crediting me back. He's clearly making false claims. He also claims that I'm not being cooperative? He took over a week and only submitted the police report number to me several days ago which is needed to process the claim. He has to understand he has to wait. He also didn't reply to my last email when I mentioned I submitted his report number to my 3rd party insurance.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: To tamper, steal, or make fails claim about stolen packages is a federal offense. It took me several days to file a police report because I was told by the sheriffs department, *** and a lawyer that I did not need to file report because *** has already started their investigation. *** has taken responsibility of the damaged package and paid the claim to the shipper/shippers insurance as the evidence submitted shows Its been over one month since I opened up a investigation and still havent received item purchased in the amount of $3076 nor have I received reimbursement.

Got the approval from my 3rd party insurer and check will be mailed to me. Since this has been approved, I don't need to wait for the check to arrive. Will be shipping out customers replacement tomorrow (5/13/22) and at the request of my 3rd party insurer, it CAN'T be shipped to his residence again. It will be shipped to an authorized ***** pick up store near the customer's home for pick up. Customer is to REFUSE delivery IF he see's any "tampering" on the box. Accepting and signing for the package will forfeit his rights to another claim.
