  CorVel Corporation is a company utilized by my hospital (*************************) to keep workers comp costs down. I have had multiple dental repairs done due to being assaulted at work. I had to fight for Most of the work to be approved by the CorVel Corp.(I obtained a lawyer and brought my case to workers comp). Now after having the work approved and completed , CorVel continually finds ways to not compensate the providers who completed the work. I think this is an illegal practice, utilized to make it impossible for Persons looking for providers to find one . I myself found it extremely hard to find a workers comp provider. I can now understand, once I mentioned CorVel corporation , the health care provider, wanted nothing to do with me.

  Thank you for your correspondence regarding the complaint on August 27, 2022 regarding repair issues. 
  

  We have reviewed the complaint regarding the dental work performed in relationship to the worker's compensation injuries. 
  

  It can be challenging to find a Dentist in ************** that is willing to accept the Worker's Compensation Fee schedule rates. We were able to find a dental practice that would accept a patient with a Worker's Compensation injury. One of the dentist in the practice would not accept the ** fee schedule rates while a different dentist would accept the ** fee schedule rates and accepted him as a patient. To date, all treatment and services were approved, authorized and processed. 
  

  The claim adjuster has worked very closely with the dental practice to ensure that the bills have been processed according to the ************** Worker's Compensation Fee Schedule rates. There were a few bills that we denied as the provider did not submit the proper billing coding or provide the medical narrative along with the copy of the bills which is required per ************** Worker's Compensation Law. To date, all of the outstanding services have now been reviewed, processed and payments issued. 
  

  CorVel will continue to ensure all medical care necessary and related to his worker's compensation injury will be paid per the *** WCL. CorVel will continue to work with the provider's office for any potential future treatment related to this injury.
