I sold my rental unit on 3/17/22 and was trying to cancel the homeowner insurance. I called on 3/14/22 and got a recording. I left a message. No call back. The next day, I called and got an agent that was supposed to send me a form to fill out via E-mail. No form sent. The next day, I called, and got another agent ************************* who was supposed to e-mail me the form. I received a note from her that she was unable to find my policy and to send the property address. I e-mailed back, and No response. The next day I called her, but got only a voice mail. I called the agency again and talked to the receptionist and told her my issue with the policy number. The receptionist was able to find my policy. She said that ************************* was in and would connect me. I got Jenevie's voice mail. I called back the agency and only get voice mails. My policy was $790 starting 6/15/21 to 6/15/22 All I want is my refund back, and there seems like I am getting the run around.Business response

After receiving your email today I immediately sat with our employee Jen ***** to see what work she had done for ********************, and I also contacted RLI (the insurance company) to see what steps they may have taken to cancel the policy.
I found out from Jen ***** that she had sent ******************** the cancellation form to sign, which he did sign and returned to us see attached. She received the signed form dated 3/21/22 and she sent it to RLI that same day for processing.
RLI shows that they received Jens email on 3/21/22 and have processed the cancellation already, the policy is confirmed cancelled effective 3/18/22. There is a refund due of $174.00 to ********************, however the staff at RLI were not able to tell me if that refund check has been mailed yet, or when it will be mailed but it should go out in the course of the current accounting cycle.
I hope this helps ******************** to feel better regarding his cancellation, it appears that all the paperwork was handled right away and the insurance company if just simply pending the mail-out of his refund check. I do apologize that communications between us has been lacking, and I will call ******************** to relay this information to him personally.
