On the 28th of March I purchased online from Lightfoot Cycles a double side by side trike bicycles in the amount of $2478 with Affirm finance company providing the loan. I have been trying to get in contact with Lightfoot Cycles by email and telephone number that on their online website, the email address and the telephone is not in active mode not functional. I've filled out the form on their website requesting to have this Order #LCF2427 cancel, I've called Affirm to request Lightfoot Cycles contact information, they stated that they don't have that but today I got an email after speaking to Affirm that Lightfoot was going to be paid for the order, I explained to Affirm that Lightfoot Cycle contact information is not an existing website or that the telephone number was not valid, they insisted that I have to cancel with them first. This Affirm and Lightfoot Cycles is not assisting me with the process of cancellation because this is how it take advantage of consumers, how can Affirm not have a contact information for the website but has the information to approve and sent them the amount mention. It states that I only have 30 days to cancel order from the time of purchase, which this is what I have been trying to do. Your assistance is appreciated. Lightfoot Cycles has 3 different addresses, 1st one is ******************************************************************************************************************************************, ***************************************, Telephone numbers *****************-821-4750. AFFIRM telephone number is ************. Affirm has a policy that I need to fill out a form on their website so that I can file and disputes/refund from the merchant within 30 days, but now Affirm has lock me out of their website, I did call them but they stated that they were not able to help with getting me back on to their website I am a 74 year old and this is giving me anxiety, my ** is out of control I just don't know what else to do.I need Help

Lightfoot cycles has not tried to resolve this issue. I ordered a Trike from Lightfoot Cycles on Sept. 6, 2022 confirmation #YOJREYCYY at the price of $3196.00 charged to my Am Ex.After a dozen emails to them checking on the order, they kept responding that there was a back order Lightfoot Cycles keeps sending email stating 16 week wait and I would receive by 2nd week of January 2023. I patiently waited and still have not received my Trike. I have left serveral email messages and voice messages. I emailed to and I called the phone # ************ and still have not heard back from them. I have requested a full refund back to my Am Express. Attached is the order from their website.Thank you for any help you can assist on this refund. ************************* my phone ************ EMAIL - ********************

Ordered the 3 speed trike with several up-grades on 4/26/2022 with expected delivery in 4 to 6 weeks per website. Received email from LFC on 4/28/22 that expected delivery was now ***** weeks. On 7/27/22 I sent an email asking for delivery date. They responded on 8/3/22 saying the bike is almost complete but did not have delivery date. On 8/17/22 I sent email cancelling my order explaining summer was almost over and I live in a winter climate and cruising window would soon be over. I'd waited 16 weeks at that point. No responce from LFC. I sent a follow up email on 8/19/22 reiterating that I cancelled the order and wanted a full refund of $2770.00 No response from LFC. Called and left phone message demanding a refund on 8/26/22 and again on 8/29/22. No response to either message. 18 weeks, no bike, no refund, no contact. And yet their website still says delivery in 4-6 weeks.

Originally, the lead time is only **** weeks. Please visit our website. We never mentioned the 4-5 week lead time that the customer claims. The trike was delayed due to high demand and a manufacturing delay for the parts needed for the trike that cause their order to be delay. Our manufacturer is working hard to overcome delays that were caused by a frame tubing shortage earlier in the year, starting in March, to get caught up. Theyve added hours, staff, workstations everything they can.  But they could have never anticipated this change in the bicycle industry from past history something out of their control.  (Much of it is out of our control too!) We clearly informed the customer for the last time and asked them to wait another 3-4 weeks, but the customer decided to cancel their order. We are currently in the process of requesting that their order be cancelled with our manufacturer.

You can contact Worksman Cycles and confirm both the customer order request and the delay.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I did receive a full refund from seller on 9/16/2022. I do not agree with details in the response from seller on original complaint. Though the situation is resolved I stand by my complaint  that their customer service is severely lacking.

      Sincerely,
