Went to Luxor nail bar in ***** ***** on Saturday June 24,2023 and paid for 2 pedicures was charged ***** that is what I signed for and then they changed it to double that amount after I left. They did not give me a receipt but when I called them on Monday June 26,2023 they found receipt and said it was only *****.Business response

My Name is *************** the owner of Luxor Nail Bar. I have attach an image of the statement on that day with the highlights of the transaction we had with *****************************. We only charge for the service nothing else. What ever she said her bank was charging her is between her bank and her. We have nothing to do with it. She should contact her bank. I was incorrectly charged for services rendered. I had an acrylic fill with gel polish on their menu it states that service should be ***** when I went to pay he charged me *****. I asked for what, ***** tells me because he had to file my nails. I explained that should be included with the service as thats like paying for a seatbelt on a aircraft. In the beginning of this situation he says hes not the manager and then when I asked to speak with the the owner he switches and tells me he is the owner and now the price is *****. They have no set menu or pricing it seems and they just spit any number out. Which should be illegal. He threaten to call the cops on me if I didnt pay full amount. I paid the ***** and left. I paid with cash as if I use a debit or cc Im charged a 3.5 percent fee. Only witness to this experience was my daughter.Business response

To whom ever it might concern:
My name is *************** (*****) I manage the nail salon Luxor. I have attached the price sheet for our acrylic services. *************************** got a fill in with gel which is $40 plus cut down/reshape which is $5 and up. Also she have 1 broken nail that is $3 a fix. So the service she received was : $40 fill + $8 cut down/reshape + $3 fix one nail equals $51. Everything is listed on the prices sheet. Sorry if she feel that way but everything we charge is listed on our menu.Customer response

***************************He didnt fix a nail as he didn't even place a nail on top of my nail but just added acrylic to it. I never asked for a trim down but he had to match my nail as that he added acrylic to it nor did he even tell me there is a price add to it. His company is very deceptive on their pricing and what is usually included at all salons for a acrylic fill he treats as if its an added fee with no knowledge ahead of time.Business response

My name is *************** (*****) I manage the nail salon Luxor. Like i said in my previous email. Everything I charge was on the price sheet. She said i did not fix her nail. So to her what if he definition of fix. To us the definition of fix is the nail have crack on it/the acrylic is not attached to the nail bed any longer. Or the acrylic is not on the nail anymore. The tip she mentions is just a bridge to hold the acrylic for it to set if she want it to be longer. Which she did not want it to be longer so there is no point of putting it on. Everything we charge is on the price sheet no hidden charges. Also to match her nail length we have to cut the rest of her nail down to match the length. We did ask her before we proceed with the service. Anything we charge is on the price sheet.
