I purchased a remanufactured hybrid battery from this seller on ***** Within a couple of months the battery completely died even though it has a 3yr warranty. I contacted the seller who agreed that if I sent him 2 cores he would ship me another remanufactured battery at no cost. I did what he said and he shipped me another battery. This battery died within weeks of installing it. The seller has been totally unprofessional, making fun of a brain injury I have, calling me names and cursing me out. All I wanted was a good battery but at this point I can't trust he's gonna send me anything more than garbage. He now claims that the item I purchased was not remanufactured but instead used. The listing says remanufactured and also gives the definition of remanufactured. The batteries I've sent to him as cores had better charge then the batteries he's sent me. I paid over $1300 for junk. The seller refuses to reply to other emails I've sent him, claims I'm extorting him and continues to change his claims or policies. I want either a quality product or my money back.Business response

These are reconditioned hybrid batteries, we do have some small percentage of early failures in spite of our reconditioning and testing. These are used parts. As is ordinary, when failures occur, customer can bring battery to us for warranty replacement or pay shipping. Customer offered to ship extra core instead of paying shipment cost. Cores customer shipped were worthless, not recoverable selected junk. Customer tried to extort monies from ** by reporting to ******* attorney general,, which he then did repeatedly. Extortion is federal interstate crime. These claims by customer involve mail fraud and wire fraud. As you would understand, some people do not have ethical boundaries.
