ABSOLUTELY RANCID company! First of all they wanted to make us wait for 5 day's to come and fix the cable that was accidentally hit by a weed eater by the landloard because the cable was ran across the ground and was not visable. Then after I called and told them that we couldn't wait for 5 day's to have them come fix it because we had a senior in high school and a sofomore as well and it was finals time and THEY ARE ONLINE STUDENTS! 100% couldn't wait 5 day's fir them to fix it. So after complaining to them that 5 day's was unaccaptable they were some how able to get down Pocatello from I.F. the next day but only because they charged me more for the service call. Then when the guy came to fix it he used 69 foot of cable @$1.25 per foot! The problem with that is he really only need to use 40 foot at *** for my apartment. How do I k ow this well that's because I measured it! Way over kill on the extra cable! So, after I found that out I told them to take a hike and went with a different company! Then I get a bill from Bonnivlle collections that says we owe them $716.23 I called to find out why and they said it was for unreturned equiptment. I was then was told to call Fybercom to ask them about it. I did and they told me that I need to return the equiptment and they will take it off the bill. The problem with that is I live in ********* and they are in ***********. That's only a 120 mile round trip for me. When they are in ********* every week day! So she then told me I could mali it to them. I asked if they were going to pay for the shipping and she laughed and said no. I can't afford over $100.00 to send them their equiptment back! This is how they treat customers that have been with them for the last 4 years! They are a dishonest company who like to rip ppl off lots of money! So if you are with fybercom make sure you watch them really close when it comes to your bill! THEY ARE THEAVES! ***** we sorry for this experience. However in the case of a line being hit you should bring this up with your landlord and have them foot the bill to repair the line. We have an electronic reader that we can show you how much cable we used, there is no way for us to be dishonest with this situation. Finally I am sorry that it took us 5 days to get there, I do have a problem with that and we can do better here. I will speak with my team and see why it took us that long.
On the situation of collections we send 31 days of notice to a customer who nonpays, and then it goes to collections. If you wanted us to get the equipment you had 31 days of notice for us to come and get the equipment for you. At this time it is now your equipment to return or pay for. If you do not want to drive to our office I understand that is quite the commute from Poky. So we suggest mailing it to either of our offices and we can process it in office for you and remove the equipment charge.

I have had service from 2021 and just now went to switch to a cheaper provide for the same service and they want to charge me an early termination that was NOT in the contract and charge to come get their equipment. I only signed a 2-year agreement but they claim it auto renews which it doesn't state in contract. I was not told about this verbally nor did not sign anything that states that it auto renews. Also, at the 2-year **** I DID call to cancel and the employee talked me into keeping for 6mos just to make sure I liked my new service so I did. I did not sign additional contracts either. Now call to finally cancel because my other service it GREAT. Just to be told I would be charged all this extra money. Total dishonest business practices. PLEASE AVOID!!FyberCom, LLC Response

I would give zero stars if I could! We have tried numerous times since June of 2023 to cancel the worst internet ever! They told us it's been canceled and they would pick up their equipment. A few months later no equipment being picked up so we called again and asked about charges and we had already switched internet companies. We were told sorry and they would pick up equipment. Here it is November and we get a charge for $79! We were only paying $55 when we had it. Called and asked what the heck was going on when we had canceled back in June. We were told that rates had gone up. We don't even use your internet!!!! We canceled in June!! Then we were told that the last few people we talked to were fired. So now they want to charge us a $50 antenna take down fee and all the equipment!! We have been waiting since June to have you guys pick up your crap! We should get a rental fee for all the months we were waiting for a so call tech to pick up! And in fact we we being charged for speeds we never received! That's fraud! But every time we called they say that they would fix the issue. Never happened. I want 2 months of internet fees returned and a rental fee for keeping all this equipment since June! Glad I switched when I did and got speeds I pay for! Quit charging non existing customers!!!FyberCom, LLC Response

We requested to cancel and was told by an associate that hed hold our account to make sure we were satisfied with our new service before cancelling it. We insisted we did not want any further service from fybercom as after 5 years of use, we moved and dont have good reception with their company here. A few months pass only to find out that they had been charging us for 3 months. We called and they said that the previous associate was no longer with the company so they would not abide by whatever arrangement that associate made. They offered a partial refund. The whole thing felt very wrong since wed done everything we were supposed to do and since they had a pushy associate that refused to cancel us, we are out $100. I was assured that this was the best they could do which is unfortunately not very good for a young family that just got ripped off.FyberCom, LLC Response

We bought a house with Fybercom internet already set up. Over the last 6 months of owner the property the internet has worked intermittently. Everytime we have had an issue fybercom has tried to get us to pay for either the gas to drive their truck up to repair the issue or to rent a truck with a boom to get to our roof. We have been without internet for a month since fybercom told us they would be unable to help us. I just told them I would like to cancel and they want to charge me $250 for a cancelation fee.FyberCom, LLC Response

Your company has trucks with the ability to reach our roof. This was disclosed to us early on, as the representative told us the "boom trucks" were in the shop.Either way, whatever agreement you had was with the prior owner. I was not informed prior to using your services that I would need to own "special equipment" to maintain my connection or that I would be asked to pay for gas to get your Trucks to my location. (It's honestly embarrassing you would ask.) This was something you worked out with the prior owner it seems. If this was disclosed to me, I wouldn't have used your services.Review from Rachel E

Best internet provider in our area. Great customer service, unlimited data packages, month to month option. I don't expect any utility company to be perfect, but these guys do a great job. If they have an outage they are on top of fixing it and updating customers. Locally owned and operated.Review from Chase C

This company is a joke. I called complaining that my speeds that were acceptable are now terrible. So, they tell me that there are a lot of new customers in the area drawing the speeds down. So, they upgraded me to a new plan that they had just released. Well that only lasted a couple months till they oversold this plan. Now we can only use 1 device in our house at a time. I spend most of my work time using my hotspot on my phone because my internet is complete garbage. All they want is your money and they will oversell the plans they have in the area and tell you to pack sand.Review from Greg W

Consider Starlink (***************** SpaceX) if you need rural internet before using Fybercom. They cannot compare to the speeds you will get plus they charge only $30 more per month than Fybercom. Plus Fybercom constantly has outages! And even the planned ones you are not notified.FyberCom, LLC Response

We appreciate your feedback and will be more transparent on planned outages. Unfortunately due to emergency situations or power outages we are not always in control of notifying all of our customers. The main difference between us and space x is that FyberCom is a locally owned and operated. Supporting us is supporting ***** Workers.
