Two years ago CJ Landscape did the landscaping of my yard. They were paid a substantial amount of money. Part of the reason they were chosen is because *****, the owner, emphasized over 20 years in business and a two years warranty on his work including parts, labor and plants. In that time, plants have died that were not replaced. I have complained about lousy coverage on the lawn and improper type of sprinkler heads used, which he. would not fix, and the lawn not level.A year and a half a go he mentioned he would fix the leveling issue. Five months ago he again stated he would fix it and have "guys out in a week or two". I never heard back from him again. I then sought out another landscape company to get their opnion. Then after a few text messages to *****, he finally got back in touch with me and as usual. he started suggesting all the different reasons why the yerd could be uneven and said he remembered we had a few "ankle breakers" but didn't think it was all that bad. I told ***** that I had only ever only wanted it done right, which he agreed I had siad, but he didn't think I would pay for it, although he had never had quoted it to me. CJ Landscape and *****' crew did a far below standard job and this is born about by the other landscape company who came out to look at my yard and review the problems. It's notated the problems I am experiencing are due to substandard work by the previous landscape company.The amount of money I'm requesting is less than I paid ***** and less than the cost of the repair quoted. It my attempt to once again be more than fair.
