He is an absolutely awful doctor if you have any kind of mental disabilities. I am autistic and I saw him once in the spring of 2022 to get my anxiety meds. The first thing he told me is that I didn't seem autistic to him. Keep in mind this was after talking to me for less then a minute. I very respectfully informed him that I did not feel comfortable working with a doctor who had such little knowledge about autism when it came to being prescribed anxiety meds. So I ended up going somewhere else to a doctor who was more experienced with what I needed. Fast forward to the day before Christmas Eve and I had strep throat. He was the only doctor that had an opening and I figured that because it was just strep and I needed an antibiotic there would be no problem. If you know anything about autism, you probably understand that people who are autistic take past experiences really hard. So I was a little bit uncomfortable going to the doctor again who had told me that I didn't look autistic but I decided since it was something basic it would be fine. When I went in, he immediately looked at my file on his computer and said I "why are you here you told me you needed a different Dr."I sometimes have a hard time vocalizing my thoughts and so it took me a minute to get my words out and I started shaking my hand to self-regulate so that I would be able to verbalize that. I just needed something very basic and I had full confidence in him for that. However as soon as I starting shaking my hand he yelled at me to leave and said I was not welcome back. I started crying and literally shaking while shaking my hands to try to remain verbal and not go into a full-on meltdown. He started yelling at me and demanding that I leave but I managed to strand my ground and insist that I be checked for strep and given an antibiotic because as previously stated there was literally nowhere else open except for the ** unless I waited till the day after Christmas. This is discrimination.
