Havent been getting mail at our po box for a couple of weeks. I learned that a business I had billed had sent me a check to the ups store but had forgotten to put the box number, which should be easy enough to find since my name was on the mail when I went in to inquire, the store manager informed me that she, among others, had shredded mail that had no box number. She claimed that they try to return it if it had a stamp, but if it had postage from a metered machine, they shred it. So she admitted they had shredded my$400 check and offered no apology. I have no way of knowing how much other mail has been shredded, but I dont rent a box and entrust my mail to them just to have them destroy it. It would have been a simple thing to look my name up and rented a box instead of destroying it. The owner was also no help and offered no solution. At the least I would like a refund of the big rental for the last six months since they apparently have shredded much of my mail
