          On June 4, 2024, Better Business Bureau contacted Loop Lasso concerning advertising claims found on its website, https://looplasso.com/. Specifically, BBB asked Loop Lasso to substantiate or modify the following claims:  

           

          • “Fast 3-5 Day US Delivery”
          • “100% Moneyback Guarantee”
          • “Viral Sensation: Over 250M Views”
          • “Featured In: USA Today, Fox News, NBC, and CBS”
          • “100-DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE”

           

           

          BBB’s first basic principle of the code of advertising is that “the primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB.”

           

          According to BBB’s code of advertising, “Advertisers should only use “satisfaction guarantee,” “money back guarantee,” “free trial offer,” or similar representations in advertising if the seller or manufacturer refunds the full purchase price of the advertised product or service at the consumer's request.”

          Pattern of Complaint

          On June 4, 2024, Better Business Bureau recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding delivery issues and refund/exchange issues. Consumers allege they are not receiving their orders within the timeline promised by Loop Lasso. Consumers allege they were promised the items would be free if the timeline was not met yet they are having difficulty accessing refunds.  

           

          On June 4, 2024, BBB notified Loop Lasso of the complaint pattern. To date, Loop Lasso has not responded to BBB’s request to address the pattern.

          On June 4, 2024, Better Business Bureau investigated Loop Lasso’s business practices. This investigation was prompted by a pattern of complaints by consumers regarding delivery issues and refund/exchange issues.
