11/5/2024 - Factor75 sells prepared meals sent to your home. I was charged $63.60 for a transaction I did not complete and authorize. I last ordered from them over a year ago. I simply went to their website to look at menus they had available. They showed a preselected assortment of dinners for me I did not like. I did not complete the order and authorize payment. I got a text from **** of a charge to my card and called Factor75 to cancel the order but was told it was too late and order was already shipped.Business response

My son bought me a gift card for this company so I signed up for factor. In signing up they sent me a welcome email stating my order would be 50% of and subsecuent 4 orders would be 25% off. I tried to pu my gift card in but could not figure a way. I called them and they told me I cannot use a gift card when I use the new 50% off special. They said if I have a promotion or discount, I cannot used a gift card. Due to there being specials with gift cards in which you can pay amount and get more if that special is around, I cannot use the gift card. I needed the food delivered so I said ok and did what I was told, ordered my 6 meals. The meals were delivered Monday. I called factor after talking to my son after finding that my son had paid full amount for the gift card. I spoke to 2 different people, and they did not have a supervisor and they would not give me a 50% off since i already used it and an existing as a customer. Checking the email for the gift card, I do not see any disclaimer or mention that I could not use my gift card with discounts.Business response

On 10/17/2024 I was charged $171.85 & $27.98 from Factor75. Because I have never ordered Factor and knew this was wrong, I contacted Factor and reported fraud. Then, I called my bank to report the fraud and they were able to temporarily reverse it, pending investigation. Since that time, Factor has continued to try to bill me for additional orders even though I reported it as fraud and told them I did not want Factor. I would like Factor to cancel any membership as originally requested on 10/17/24. I have also responded to every email Factor has sent and reported it as fraud with no response back. The fact that Factor was notified of the fraud and continues to try and bill me for additional orders is very concerning.Business response

On Tuesday, OCTOBER 29, 2024 I received my Free Box from FRACTOR75. Today Thursday, OCTOBER 31, 2024 I find my checking account -$19.58. I was charged $81.33 for another box from FRACTOR75 that is to be delivered NOVEMBER 5, 2024, I did not sign up to become a member!I received an application from a friend who is a member of FRACTOR75. I was told to fill out the form and I paid $11.90 for shipping. How does a free box transition to a membership?? I was convinced with the information I gave FRACTOR75 was just for the free box! But according to the representative, that I called *****************), which showed up as an unknown caller/receiver, told me that is not the information they received. Its a free box, what information besides choose what food you like to try, name, address, and pay the shipping. I told the representative I did not agree to a membership that I havent tried yet! There should not be any membership information on a free box application! I feel its a bait and switch transaction. I have tried products that gave me weeks before you are actually charged; and they gave me many e-mail messages to return the product before they charged my credit card. I regret that I Apple Pay the shipping fee. I always do transactions with a credit card, but I believed it was a one time paymentit wasnt.Business response

Your business claims that it cannot cancel an order and not provide the tracking number for the package which is ridiculous. Our family is military and at times are redirected within days notice of when we wouldn't be at our home. I've worked with packaging for many years and you should be able to provide this to your customers, I've worked for global companies and the customer service is severely lacking. You make things extremely difficult to cancel that way people are stuck with your outrageous chargesBusiness response

My card was debited last night around 2-3am from Factor75. I went online this morning to cancel and get a refund as it was still pending in my Cash App. While I was on the phone with customer service, he put me on hold and retrieved my money. I am so upset at their deceiving ways. It was confusing trying to maneuver on their web site to cancel. I am so mad because that was all the money I had at this time and they took it with any notification. I want a refund immediately! I don't have the money to pay my bill because of them..Business response

On October 24, 2024, I logged on to Factor to look at their weekly meals. I did not see anything that appealed to me so I logged out. Factor billed my checking account, sent meals and reactivated my previously deactivated account stating since I logged in that is what I wanted. They refused to allow me to send the meals back for a refund. I do not know how they obtained my new debit card information to bill my account either. I never hit "submit" or " order" but since I logged in I reactivated the account and was automatically charged for something I did not want. I have enough to deal with financially with storm damage from ******, I certainly don't need this as well. **************** was not helpful and told me I should have read their terms and conditions, which were nowhere to be found, before agreeing to order from them even though I never agreed to order from them.Business response

With my first box I recieved a coupon allowing a referal to recieve a half priced box of meals.I have been enjoying the meals so and my mom has been dying to try them as well. on Tuesday evening (Oct 15th), I placed an order for 18 meals, alongside my mother on her account.The order was placed and set to be delivered on Oct 21st, with the last day to make modifications on Oct 16th.Following that, I cancelled a week's worth of meals from my account because I was going to share the food with my mom once her order had been delivered on October 21st.Unfortunately, the account was deactivated for some reason that night and we have no idea why.Since Tuesday evening I have been waiting for these meals and so excited for my mom to try them. I havent had ANY meals and am waiting until October 28th. the coupon I received alongside my first shipment was used on my mother's account, but since that order was cancelled and her account was randomly deactivated, Last week I spoke with somebody in the virtual chat and he told me that my mother's account was deactivated because we had had the same delivery *************, Oct 24, I looked at my bank statement, and I saw that that I was charged another 200 something dollars for the orders on my mother's account that was deactivated over a week ago.was told by the *** that I spoke with that somebody would reach out to me via email last Friday and I was not contacted.Tonight I called and the *** on the phone told me that because the account name is the same on my mother and eyes account that's why her account was deactivated, not because of the same address, which I was told last week by another ***resentative.I am paying full price for a box of meals that I didn't even get to select myself because I was told that the account was deactivated and I had used a coupon for that order. Plus, I deleted the shipment of my own personal meals on my own account to be delivered on Oct 28 and I am also paying that price as well.Business response

I had the food service for maybe 3 weeks the meals were good at first then the price almost doubled and I got nothing but chicken and beans I canceled last week but got another box of food today and of course another charge on my credit cardBusiness response
