      Purchased a brand new RV from this place in March 2022. Did not get to really use the trailer till end of May 2022.. we noticed that the toilet leaks defective.. The awning stays pitched, the table on dinette is defective and not made correctly to turn into bed. I called them in June, July. Went there in August and provide pictures and videos. We were told if there is warranty work a technician will come to us. We have not heard from vacationland nor has anyone been out to look at trailer.. we have to keep a towel behind toilet due to all the water leakage.. horrible buyer experiencing after spending 30k on our summertime get away

      I spoke with ******** on Jan 4 with an updated status on the repairs and assured her that they will be completed and we'd keep her updated as we receive all the required parts.

      We really regret that it's taken so long to get warranty approvals for the various repairs and appreciate ********'s continued patience.

      Date of Transaction is September 18, 2020 Amount we paid Vacationland $32,389.16 They had too have camper a week to prep it, but if prep was done correctly water pump, floor vent, light switch, and delamination would of been discovered. All these thing were discovered when we did our walk through except water pump. Water pump was discovered when we got it back to our site and hooked water to it. I called Vatationland on Saturday because they were closed that night, We discussed how it was going to get fixed them coming out or us taking back. I said I have no way of getting back to you so they agreed to come out the following weekend and the repair man thought he had it fixed left and I went hrs later and it was still leaking, So then I called again and the next weekend he came back out same repair man and tried to fix it but could not. Left and I had his number called him back he tried again to repair it and still could not get it repaired correctly, So I called Vactionland on at this point we are sending pictures back and fourth. We still have a leaking water pump. And it Mid October so it is time to close camper for the year. I have a email saying they will be out come Spring of 2021 but that never happened because they didn't have time, So on June 18th of 2021 we had to take our camper to Vactationland. So it could sit at Vacationland for 6 months until they got it into the shop. At this time there is a list of other things wrong with it, 1) water leak, 2)Under belly leaking, 3) jackknife -sofa, came off of wall no stud in wall to hold it 4) a/c freezing up,5) awning -catching on fire,6)Stove level,7) Stove temp,8) Freezer wont freeze ice cream,9) delamination on all four sides, 10) mold in the walls,11) Theater seating is bent, Camper was on way to *********** **. on February 22, 2022 at 9:49am and at 533pm my hubby gets a call asking were our camper is so they can fix the blowout, I have more to say but not enough room. Thanks ***********************

      September 2021, we received the customers approval to diagnose their concerns and to request manufacturer approval during the winter months. Since that time, weve been working with the manufacturer to ensure the covered repairs are performed according to the manufacturers guidelines. Some of the repairs were completed in-house, and the manufacturer is addressing the remaining concerns.

      February 2022, the customer signed the manufacturers Release and Acceptance Form that stated the agreed upon requested return date is mid-May 2022. The trailer was picked up by the factory the following week.

      We are very sorry for the customers frustration and have been working steadily to address their concerns. Once the trailer is delivered back to the customer from the manufacturer, we have consignment sales available, which is a flexible option if they no longer want the camper.

      Thank you.

      Experience with Vacationland in Big Rock started out good, but quickly went downhill. ******* who handles the title and registrations has made multiple errors. Here we are almost 3 months after purchase and she still hasnt submitted proper paperwork to the state for titling and registration. I called today to find out that no one will be checking the mail for Vacationland until January 3rd (5 weeks from now) and that theres no one else there to fix the issue. Extremely disappointed. Purchase of used RV 10/16/2021. Vacationland filed wrong ******************** info, received revised paperwork after going back to Vacationland and informing them state said Vacationland filled out paperwork incorrectly. Received & returned new paperwork on 10/23/2021 that was supposed to be processed right away. Still havent received RV license plate as of 12/7/2021. ********************** RV staff on vacation until January 3rd and no one at their company will do anything with mail or correcting registration until then. RV Dealerships should know proper paperwork to file the 1st time and should have staff on hand to respond to consumer concerns faster than 5 weeks out. We want correct title and registration ASAP.

      Were very sorry that Mr ***** ******************** are frustrated in the delay of receiving their license plates. They will receive the license plate for the vehicle when the Secretary of State has everything processed. Its not uncommon for this to take up to 90 days or longer; that is the reason why temporary registration permits are valid for 90 days.

      As a dealer, we often see title issues with used vehicles, and in particular, motorhomes. This is because there can be different VINs, years,and makes on a title for the same vehicle one for the chassis (eg ***** and one for the coach (eg Coachmen). On some used motorhome titles, they are identical, but sometimes they are not. In addition to that, sometimes the back-end coding in the Secretary of States computer for other characteristics is different from what is listed on the physical paper title that we have from the original owner. In the case of the vehicle purchased by the McKenzies,this transaction is the first time we had processed a title for this vehicle and there are two different VINs, years, and makes (**** **** and **** Coachmen). The back-end title issue was probably the result of a prior dealer or Secretary of State typing error.

      Here is a timeline of events up until now...

      ///
      October 16, 2021

      The McKenzies were in our dealership to take delivery of the motorhome when we attempted to process the title and registration application at the Secretary of States website (http://www.ilsos.gov/pert/).This is when we discovered there was an issue with the back-end coding on the title. As a dealer, we are unable to make corrections to titles this can only be done by the Secretary of State, and at the time on a Saturday, there were no agents available to make a correction for us. Without an application submitted to the Secretary of State, we would not be able to issue a temporary tag (90-day TRP) for them to drive the motorhome. A Secretary of State agent wouldnt be available again until Monday and it wasnt feasible for the McKenzies to return to our dealership to pick up the motorhome because they live more than 4 hours away. The only option for them to be able to take the motorhome with them that day was for us to process a title-only application and issue a 10 day driveaway permit. The McKenzies agreed to this option, with the understanding that they would have to file for the registration at the *** themselves.

      ///
      October 23
      The McKenzies called us upset because they were going on a vacation and now needed a longer temporary permit, and the *** wouldnt help them until they received the title. It can take up to 90 days for the state to process a title and registration application. We were able to reach an agent (fortunately one was available at that time) to fix the coding so we could process another title and registration application along with a 90-day TRP. We confirmed this with the following email:

      I have attached the updated title and registration form.  Please print,sign, scan and email back to me. As soon as I receive this back I will mail the temp plate to you with the paper copies of this same form. Sign and return the 3 of the forms by mail. Once those are received back by us we can mail them in to actually file your title and registration.
      After receiving the scanned copy later that day, we sent the hard copies and TRP to ******************* via **** Priority Mail 2-Day Flat Rate Envelope 9405503699300041456865.

      ///
      November 13
      We received the signed title and registration applications from ******************* and then mailed them to the Secretary of State for processing.

      ///
      December 7
      ******************** posted negative reviews on multiple websites including ****** and Yelp making false and misleading accusations. She called us because they havent received their license plates yet and the Secretary of State told her theres a problem.

      ///
      December 8
      We were able to speak with a Secretary of State agent that told us there is still an error on the original title which will need to be corrected and they will send us a letter for how to correct the issue.

      ///
      December 9
      We spoke with ******************** and explained that we havent received the Secretary of States letter yet but will check the mail every day until we close for the season on

      ///
      December 15
      We explained to ******************** that their temporary registration expires on January 23, 2022.

      ///
      December 11
      We spoke with ******************** and requested her to close this BBB complaint and remove the negative reviews posted on other websites, but she declined to do so at this time.
