Business transaction of tub resurface with Up 2 Kode Construction, owner **** ******* 7/22/24 An agreement was made with attatched estimate of 862.00 however **** informed us if we pay cash he will drop the taxes and the cost will be 750.00 **** requested half of the deposit the night before they came and 350.00 was sent via **** ***. The expectation was for them to arrive at 9:00 am to begin as we were told.. we were told the tub would take four hours and a cure time of 24 hours. **** did not show up until 4:00pm and remained at our house until 11:00 pm and informed me he grabbed the wrong supplies and requested additional money for the correct supplies and I requested he use the kit he bought as I did not feel we should have to pay extra money for supplies and then stated that they would have to come back to do a second coat tomorrow and will be back at 9:00-10:00 am. After speaking with multiple construction companies this should have only taken one kit and one day. **** requested 400.00 prior to coming. **** then showed up at 1:00 pm and finished at 7:00 and left the tub in the condition attached and stated again they were out of supplies and would have to come back for a third day and left multiple spots of epoxy and informed us nail polish remover would remove this however in the estimate it states we paid for cleaning costs. He also damaged our walls and they require paint due to him getting epoxy on our walls. We asked for a refund after **** admitted to my husband he “tried” and it looks messed up, **** also left epoxy all over our floor. Again after stating we felt unsatisfied and asked for a refund, **** stated “stop doing *******” and blocked me and has refused to refund us for the tub, the damages to our walls, or materials we bought to repair this. **** also is documenting he is LLC, and this was noted to have involuntary dissolution after investigation in February and failed to disclose this prior to completing this service in our home.
