  December 9, 2022 Sheldon towed my car from a police parking lot. I was not given any notice as required by law. This was public property, my car was not a hazard nor a nuisance (see Illinois vehicle code ILCS 625), police did no inventory of my car, so Sheldon can not allege it was part of any criminal act, no citations were given. I spoke to Sheldon & explained yes I gave permission to my friend to drive it & claim his tools from my car & I would be back to pay and get my car. (Sheldon told me & *** wasn't anyone getting anything until he got his $680( I believe). When I did finally call to get my car Sheldon told me he sold it and all it's contents. The law requires him to notify me by registered certified mail ( see Illinois vehicle code). Sheldon did give me my keys on our earlier meet when he refused ****** his tools. Said something about a person being arrested in November for something. Sheldon is a tow truck owner. Not an attorney. Not law enforcement. What ANYONE ELSE has done is of no concern of his and certainly not mine or my cars debt. Innocent until proven guilty. (please note ******* ** dismissed all charges against my friend ****** ****, driver of my car. If Sheldon wants to use that like he did in ***'s complaint then again I must refer to the Illinois vehicle code, and if charges are dropped the vehicle is to be returned at no cost. By law, to tow my car from public property, I MUST be given notice. (Sheldon's reason was no SIU parking pass. Then after I told him I'd be back to get it to please stay in touch with me, ( he copied my license so had my info), he sold it with out any notice as required by state law and the DUE PROCESS CLAUSE of the Constitution. I have since spoke to AT least 15 people who have been towed by Sheldon, and EVERYONE says he steals, lies, and they usually lose their car despite being legal and having money. Make him produce the clreturn copy of ANY NOTICE he sent. Make him show you police inventory search receipt.

  The consumer's car was not towed by us but by the police.  It was towed by the police.  We don't do private property towing.  He filed 2 different complaints and did a review on us.  He used a different name on one of the complaints.
