As Much as I hate leaving bad reviews I feel as if I needed to leave this one. *********************************** *******. In the beginning it was great but after getting comfortable, you really realize how dirty this building actually is. I had some problems with my bank and the online payment portal after that happened I wasnt able to pay rent online for seven months after being told it would fix itself after two months. Now lets get to the bike room. I was never made aware that I needed to register my bikes. I get an email that they are doing a bike audit. Assuming they would let us know what we needed to do. I heard nothing and my bike was still there. as Im getting ready to move I noticed both of my electric bikes costing $600 apiece are gone. No one elses bikes are gone, that I guess are registered. I called to let them know the situation and loan behold maintenance hasnt seen the bikes. Funny how you guys do a bike audit and all of a sudden my bikes are gone. They were fine there for 10 months with no one bothering them, I had them locked up as well. The agent said he was going to sift through two months of footage to see where my bikes went instead of lying to me, knowing youre not going to look through all of that footage. Maybe we can come up with a plan to figure out what we can do in this situation, the only people that have access to that room are tenants and maintenance. You cant call this a coincidence and say a tenant took a bike when they were fine up until you did your bike audit. If youre looking to move to 823 Buena, its a great place if you love the smell of smoke, terrible management who doesnt care about you and people fighting in multiple different apartments all throughout the night then then is the place for you. If Management is reading this you can take the last five days of rent and deduct that from the $1300 bikes that were stolen by your maintenance team.

The place on ***** was magnificent like I had little problems ?? *Due to a living situation, I had to leave, and due to 765 ILCS 750/15, an ******** Safe Housing Law that I, the tenant, was under the credible imminent threat that I could leave a written notice and be taken off the lease.*On the same day, I had to leave because I was in constant danger due to my ex.I left the same day with both written notice and my police report. I had to call the police afterward and had help from their previous manager. She helped me move while I was packing. (Brittany?) ***** passed by I got a call from a different manager asking for the due rent. I told him the story, and he said to me that they didn't receive it and, nicely put as they lost my documentation because of the change of hands and that they could not legally take me off the lease. I even asked him if someone hits him, do you think they would want to remove my name, and he said he would call back to give me an update. He gave me his email, and I sent everything over in Oct 2021, within my 60-day period. I even did a follow-up email to which he didn't respond. No one is answering my calls.Thinking they fixed it, I'm taking therapy and trying to move and heal because I have dealt with this tragedy.Fast forward to the present, I get a call from collection trying to collect a debt that I wasn't supposed to be on the lease in Sept 2021!I told them what happened, and trying to get a whole of someone isn't working because of the change of hands. I can't get anyone to fix this simple mistake, and now I'm having to relive my experience as a DV to explain myself once again my situation and which is a terrible thing that I have to do.
