On 6/7/23 I called Byline Bank Pilsen to confirm an appointment made online for 6/9/23 at 1:30PM to open 2 business checking accounts. The assistant branch manager asked me to email her my Articles of ******************* letters beforehand. I sent them & asked her to let me know if she needed any additional info. I received no response. I arrived to my appointment as scheduled and she asked for my documents and ID again that I'd already emailed. She then began to ask me standard questions about my business and operations. Some questions I declined to answer, such as where else I banked or where I parked my business vehicle(s). She emailed my docs to the "back office" and received a call from them after ***** minutes. They conversed on the phone for about ***** minutes, asking me for my website, my marketing strategy, what POS I used etc before finally stating that I was not able to be approved to open an account. The ********************** manager asked the person on the phone if they had to give me anymore information and I guess the answer was no because I was told that the documents I submitted weren't sufficient. *********** because these are the same verified documents that I've used to open account at other banks in the area. I politely shared my displeasure with the the news and quietly left the bank.
