So disappointed! I'm almost suspicious that something odd is going on here, or they simply didn't care. I requested an appointment for Saturday afternoon and never received a callback. The phone number listed does not get answered. Eventually cancelled that job. I re-requested a service for late Monday afternoon either late Sunday evening or early Monday morning. Crickets again. I called around 11:15 am on Monday to confirm they could make a service call. Sure they said, they'd be there between 3-6 pm. I called at 5:17 pm to find out if they were still coming out. Yep they will be coming out. I called again at 6:44 pm to cancel the job and cancel my service plan. I had a great service call back in 2021. What the heck happened to them?Review from Sunoh C

I was scammed by ****** ******************** as it was answered by a person from Premium Home Service and then I was charged $99/month.Review from Shalin P

Would give them 0 stars if I could. Their contracted service technician came out to service my garage door. Made an adjustment and said the gear was broken and that I needed a new garage door opener. I told him I'd think about it and continued to use the garage door. 4 months since the consultation, I've still been using my garage door without any issues. Seems like he was deceitful about the diagnosis and I image these "technicians" scam many many other people. Also, it seemed fishy there was no way to cancel your annual "subscription" on the app. When I called the customer ********************** line to cancel my subscription, the service member didn't take any information and said I'll get a cancellation confirmation by email in a few minutes. A couple hours roll by, no email. I call back and ask if I have an active subscription, which they confirmed was still active.Review from Heather L

This company is a scam. We called who we thought was the original installer of our unit, Soar Heating and Cooling, requesting a tech to be sent out to repair our heat pump. The tech we received was from another company and claimed he was sent by a central dispatch company (Premium Home Service). He spent about 5 minutes looking at our unit and said it was a costly (thousands) part that needed to be replaced but may or may not be covered by warranty (our unit is still well within warranty range). We called the Mfg. to confirm warranty coverage and then called a different company for a second opinion which ended up being a quick fix of a loose electrical connection with no parts required. We suspect they were going to charge us for this expensive part and then either ghost us or do the repair and claim it wasn't covered by warranty, thus keeping our $2K+. On top of the bad diagnosis, we were signed up for an auto renew subscription for Premium Home Services that we never consented to either by phone or online. We were signed up for this without our request or permission and only by finding the subscription email in my junk mail did I discover this. I called about the confusion and was treated very rudely, berated by the service agent and told they have call logs proving I called and consented to the service. After a very aggravating phone call, i got the subscription cancelled. This company is a scam and provides the worst of service, if any.Review from Matt C

Agree with every negative complaint here. Fake business fronts, shady handling of subscription service, unreliable appointments and technicians, capatilize on desperate homeowners (our AC went out in the dead of summer). Certainly a scam.Review from Eric M

Premium Home Service is a scam. I called for a water heater repair and scheduled a tech to come out. I happened to get on-line about two minutes after I hung up and had a $150 service membership agreement charged to my credit card. This was not discussed, and I surely did not approve it. I immediately called back to cancel the service call and had the fees removed, supposedly. My next credit card ******************* had the charge on it. I now will have to go through all of the ** to get this removed from my credit card. People like this should be put in jail!Review from Ben H

I worked for ****** @ Prolift in IL for a month and he bounced my check twice, bad mouthed every customer just about behind their back and appeared to have problems with every single job. He has no idea what he is doing in the garage door industry. I feel horrible for how he is treating the customers and the quality of the work that is provided. I have been in the industry for 20 years and this is the worst I have ever seen.SO many safety concerns!Review from Laurie D

This company is a sham. We paid $59 for a "membership" to repair our windows, scheduled an appointment which they then canceled. They said they'd call to reschedule, never did. I called to reschedule and received an appointment timeframe, and I received a "confirmation email" which was an autobot and a "don't reply to this message" as it's not a mailbox that is checked. Halfway through the timeframe I called to ask and they said oh yes they are on the way. Never arrived so I called back to reschedule. Got another timeframe and you guessed it, halfway through I called to check and they said yes they're coming. Never called, never came. I called today to get a refund of my $59 which they say they are going to send but I don't believe it for a minute. STAY FAR AWAY this place is a fraud.Review from Randy R

Total scam! MY furnace went out in the middle of a cold snap. My typical HVAC contractors were booked out a month out so I had to look around. Called these guys and they said they could send someone out in a day or two which was music to my ears. They then offered me a discount on the repairs free inspections, and maintenance if I paid $99 for an annual membership. Sounded like a no-brainer at the time. They came as promised and insisted on a brand new 10K furnace b/c my furnace was outdated and unrepairable. I ended up fixing it myself for under $300. It's been two years now w/ no problems. I just noticed that they kept charging me for the membership. So they got another $99 out of me before I called and canceled. Companies like this are the reason contractors get a bad rap. Wish I would've checked the BBB review before but I was freezing my a** off and wasn't thinking straight. That's how they get you, when you're desperate and vulnerable what they are pitching sounds too good to be true, and it is. Total scam!Review from Jay W

These guys are scammers. They sign you up for an annual membership that you never asked for, then threaten to report you to the credit agencies and take you to collections if you complain. A year later and I am still getting emails from them saying they are going to renew my membership. I had to cancel my credit card just to get away from the, Avoid at all costs!
