Hello, On Oct 8th 2023 this company charged my card ******, after multiple emails and calls ( voice mail is always full) and attempts to get refunded I keep getting the run around. The policy was never in effect because they needed a driver license number, I did not ever provide one and ****** let me know to get refunded he would need a signature so I mailed a letter stating I wanted a refund for services never provided. Now I get letter stating I owe them ****** for a policy that was never in effect.Initial Complaint

I purchased a 6 month auto insurance policy on July 30th of this year. I paid a little over $300 down and paid the remaining balance plus late fee on Saturday September 8th which the amount was $429. After paying I was told my loan would end in October. I asked why if I purchased a 6 month term and ******* stated that because I have another vehicle (which was paid in full at time of purchase) with them it falls under that term that began in April. I told him then I would like to cancel and be refunded. He said no problem I would be refunded the $429 I had just paid. He was transferring me to the refund department which had just closed. He said he could call me back Monday to get that taken care of. Never received a call back on Monday so I called them once I left work. I speak with a gentleman which then tells me I would not get my full refund because I already had the policy a little over a month and he couldn't speak to a manager because no one there at that time spoke English. So I call back today (Tuesday) to speak to a manager which then tells me "They wont refund me the total amount and she could not tell me how much would be refunded. It would be up to that department. She then tells me the insurance is still not canceled an I would have to come in to sign the papers. I told her I was told over the phone I could sign electronically she then changed her tone and said sure you can do that. I still have not received the papers through email to cancel my policy since Saturday. I gave her my email today and I still have not received cancelation forms.
