On Wednesday May 24, I contacted Thumbtack for pest control. I have a raccoon and her two babies in my attic. Luxury pest Control/ hdh exterminators/ ************************* came out two days later. I chose him because he has 5 stars. He put a trap out and sprayed coyote urine and stated he would be back. The raccoon are still there I have to sleep in the downstairs portion of my home because of the noise I cant sleep. He will not answer his phone. I have called repeatedly. He came in and asked for his 475 it was zelled to him right away. I have spoke with chase and they are investigating stating they are not sure if they can do a refund because it was zelled. I want him to return my money I am disabled I am out of almost 500 dollars and I cant sleep. The numbers I have on his card are ************ ************ email address are ****************** and bestpestcontolchicago. Com please help o cant sleep I want my money back. June/July 2022, we hired a raccoon removal service. They charged us $500 to set up and captured the raccoons. They brought a cage, borrowed our ladder and some tuna for the cage. After leaving for the day, they were suppose to come back daily to check the cage/try other methods of capturing said animals. More than a week passed with no sign of animal or company. We call again to see what step two is. They show up and charge us another $200 despite no change or raccoons caught. They set up a second cage in attic. ***** later, nothing is captured and they do not show up again. They charge their customers to show up and nothing is done to finish the job or is done correctly. Empty cage still in attic months later. Went with a company advertised on the ******* City website, where they explained the law and proper procedure for animal removal.Initial Complaint

I hired Tyrese from HDH Extermination to trap animals in the attic of my rental property in ********, ** this past February. I paid $375 through zelle. Tyrese came out and saw that the entrance to the attic was an opening in the ceiling and that had no ladder. He used a step ladder that was too short for him to actually climb into the attic. Instead, he pushed a trap into the attic and said he would return when the animals were trapped. My tenants reported that the animals were still running around the attic in a different location than where the trap was located. Tyrese returned (without a ladder and in his personal vehicle) and put down more bait using a ladder that my tenants had purchased. No animals were ever trapped. Tyrese never followed up and refused my calls. In our last communication, he was supposed to can me regarding the matter but never did. I would like a refund of my funds as the issue was never resolved.Initial Complaint

I had contact HDH exterminator services on 5/23/22 I paid $550.00 to the technician Tyrese via zelle for raccoon removal services. The technician incorrectly seal the raccoon in my roof and the only trap he set on my roof was not even by the hole where the raccoon eat thru my roof. The trap was not secure properly and it did not have any bait. So I did not receive the services I paid for. I reached out to the company/technician and was inform they will come back to rectify the matter the next day at noon. At 2pm no one came or call I reached at serval times finally someone asnwer said they were waiting on a technician and will come today at 7pm no call no answer. I end up reaching out to another company they rectify my raccoon removal and they correct what HDH didnt do but that was an additional fee. Im seek a refund I feel I was scam out of my money and base of there other reviews from other people I believe this company is a scam they are not knowledgeable for pest control/wild life and they are unprofessional.Initial Complaint

I returned home from vacation on 2/1/22 to find a small dead mouse in my sink. I called ************ for HDH Extermination Services for 24 hour service (Listed on ******** Tyrese came out, removed the mouse and threw 5 poison packs down around my house- despite me asking him not to place them in the open as I have a dog. He didn't look behind any furniture or behind the refrigerator. He charged me $500 for this 15 minute visit. I paid via Zelle. This payment was supposed to include a 2 week follow-up. I have contacted this business/person multiple times and have not had a follow up. He has blocked my number. I had a second exterminator come out and he did not find any traps or bait that were supposedly placed and charged me less than half which is apparently the industry standard.
