Nov 7,2022 (aprox) We were contacted by *****************************, patient co-ordinator about Keowee Assisted living . Nov, 10, 2022, (aprox) we visited ************ . Nov 15, 2022, a patient assessment was done on my husband at our home by RN and Executive Director, *****************************. We we urged by ******* and ******* to get him in there, because of his declining health. Nov. 17,2022, I signed a contract in the office of *****************************. The terms of the contract were NEVER explained to me and I did NOT receive a copy. I mistakenly gave them a check for $7,254. and a blank ck for further payments. This ck was payment for the HALF of Nov. and all of Dec.2022. I left her office shaking and unsure of what I had done. My husband NEVER entered the facility as a patient. His health improved dramatically within the next two weeks and he no longer needed to go there. Glory to God. I immediately informed ******* on Nov 28,2022 and came directly in on Nov28,2022 to , sign a letter of termination .Within 48 hours I removed all my husbands belongings by Nov29,2022. I contacted the *** of Enlivant, ******************** *************. He referred me to the ** regional manager, *********************** *************). *********************** subsequently informed me that I could not get a full refund, but only the fee designated by *****************************, which was $1,948, meaning I lost $5,306. I cried. I believe they pressured me, failed to adequately inform me about the contract and causally ignored my plea for a decent refund. Since the room was available all the month of Dec., in a facility that was clearly not at full capacity, I have been greatly mistreated. My husband was never a patient there. He is 80 yrs old. I am 73 and we senior citizens are dismayed at how were treated by this company. This statement is true. *****************************

The following is an e-mail that was sent to Enlivant Senior Living/Alleheny Place in regard to reimbursement of personal expenses that were never refunded to me. I turned these in the day I was terminated as I was unable to log in to do so myself, as my access was immediately terminated. I gave receipts to both my immediate supervisor, regional team and HR was notified. Last time notified was on September 29th. I got a response from *********************** of HR stating:To whom it may concern:I still have not been reimbursed for the below expenses from ******. Receipts are attached in the original e-mail from June 1st below. Hi ******, I hope this note finds you well I am in receipt of your messages. Please let me look into the matter and get back with you. Thanks, ***************************** Divisional Director of *************** ***********************************|O: **************|F: ************** ************************************************************** www.enlivant.com My e-mail that I sent was the following (I also copied my former immediate supervisor, regional team and HR on this e-mail). Enlivant/*************** is notorious for paying vendors for services rendered. I'm sure there are other complaints. To whom it may concern:I still have not been reimbursed for the below expenses from ******. Receipts are attached in the original e-mail from June 1st below. Please advise in regard to payment so I will know how to proceed and if I need to contact an outside agency. I also handed in receipts the weekend before I was fired (May 25th and 26th) for expenses that I accrued from being chef for breakfast both of those days as both cooks at that time were having issues and were not able to work and cook for residents. These receipts were handed in and were not taken care of either. They both roughly came out around $50.00 each day. Again, please advise on what can be done so I will know how to proceed.Regards,************************* ************************* ************ ******************

In December 2021 I checked with several care facilities about placing my mom, ***************************, in a health care facility while I took a vacation. She went to a place in Kanawha City, ** called *************. She was scheduled to be at their facility from December 16 to December 28, 2021. She arrived at their facility on December 16 and departed on December 18, 2021. She advised me that she did not get out of bed for 2 days and that the button to summon the aids was out of reach. When mom left *************, my cousin and his wife had come to visit her, and they ended up taking her home due to the issues that she shared with them.My cousin was told by the director, **********************************, that I would receive a portion of my money back since she was not there the whole time. I paid $2,262.00 and I have reached out to several people regarding this and to date no-one has returned my emails or phone calls. I can not understand why my requests have been ignored for the most part. I believe that I have been very patient about this issue. I would appreciate it if someone would contact me and tell me why I have NOT received my refund. Thanks,******

I was contracted to play three piano performances online for Enlivant's **************** in *********************, ** on 10-14-21, 11-19-21 and 12-3-21 at $60 per show; I have still not been paid for these shows and am owed $180 and every attempt to get payment has failed so I am asking the BBB to contact the company to resolve this unbelievable situation where they refuse to pay for services rendered.
