My guinea pig died after surgery performed at this practice on Friday, April 7th. The surgery was for an abscess removal. They told me I could receive a refund on the unused medication that was given intended for Ginger, my guinea pig. I never used the medication, because my pet passed away right after surgery. I was in grief and had every right to be upset after losing my beloved pet. I wanted to know why the surgery was still performed, even though the vet found blood in my guinea pig's urine right before the surgery. I wanted to know why they still performed the surgery, even though after this surgery was performed they told me she was okay living with this abscess. The vets at this practice told me specifically she needed surgery if her abscess didn't go away within ************************************************ a voicemail to this practice on the night of April 10th. ******************************* then sent me a malicious email banning me from the practice and lying saying my voicemail was a threat. He even forwarded my voicemail to the *******************************. I went to the police department and spoke to officer ********************** who told me I did not in fact threaten them. ****** still would not allow to me get my refund, even when I asked for the officer to ****** me. There was no reason for this ban. I have every right to express my concerns about the inconsistencies from this practice. Instead of addressing my concerns and refunding me the money like they told me they would, ****** made up a story and fabricated a damaging and unnecessary lie. I want my money back for the unused medication. What they did was abusive. I was traumatized after witnessing the death of my beloved pet. There is no reason for them not to refund me. The total bill was $415.41. The total amount of the unused medication was $67.18. I am requesting a refund of $67.18.
