On 7/8/24 I took my car in to have the oil changed and tires rotated. It was driving perfectly fine. I received a call stating I need new tires and the cost was going to be $1500. I agreed and had them out the new tires in. I return my vehicle twice in the same week because there was a vibration in the rear tires that was not there before. 1st time was told that they adjusted the weight, but the car still had the same vibration. 2nd time was told I needed new shocks and struts that the tires were good and balancing was good. On Friday July 19th the passenger rear tire blew out. When we took the tire off we noticed the rim was bent right where the blow out was. They said it was because I hit something, which I did not. They replaced the tires but we still had the vibration. I took the car to the dealership and they checked everything out, No shocks or struts were needed and balancing was good but the vibration was from the bent rim. Effingham tire and auto will not take responsibility of bending the rim during installation of the new tires and still are saying it was from me hitting something. I am sure that if I would have hit something big enough to bend a rim I would have seen it. I feel they should make this right and fix their problem that wasnt there before the new tires and existed prior to the tire blowing which tells me it was during installation.
