We received advertisement on ******** (********, ** community page) regarding their service for $248 for cleaning of ************ vents in our home. I have attached the photo of the advertisement listing the $248 price along with "no hidden fees" AND "cleaning all vents in the house" listed in the advertisement. -address of the service was ************************************************************* -date of service 9/16/23. - I was never told a different price for "brushing of the vents" and paid after the service with credit card - it was an over the phone payment. I was never told of any different total price. I received total payment of $422.94 on my credit card statement - This was apparently for a $174 extra charge for brushing. Again this was never discussed and I was never told of a different total or charge then the $248 which we signed up for when we approved the service. Along with that we were double charged $422.94 on our credit card which was obviously an error but it has not been rectified. I tried calling ********************* twice on Friday 9/22 then followed up with an email to him explaining all of this I explained the double charge, the fact that two vents were left uncleaned and that we were charged for $175 of brushing service when were never told of this charge before making payment on credit card. He finally texted me back after I tried calling twice more. He said he did not know why there was a double charge and was on the phone with the bank at that moment. He also accepted responsibility for missing two vents. I asked for this to be rectified with double payment being taken off along with the $175 being taken off for brushing. Since this message on Friday he has not responded to any call, email or update and there still has not been anything done about the double payment of $422.94 or the $175 additional. At this stage that is stealing money. I gave him advanced warning and chance to solve this before I reported this. Still no responses or communication
