Hello,I am writing because it seems that Inliten is selling holiday lights with a false or misleading warranty/guarantee. Since December 2020, I have purchased 9 sets of their #V44900 Stay-lit 100 led mini lights that can change from warm white to multi. The first 6 sets were purchased at Ace Hardware in IGH (I think these had a little different name/packing); I put them out November of 2021 and noticed that one set was already not working. So since ACE was no longer selling these, I had to order another set from ******* to match the existing sets I had already purchased. I took them down after the 2021 holiday season and put them up this year....only one of the six sets fully worked despite the "Set Stay Lit" claim on the box. I tried to call and was told that I had to package up the lights and send them all back to claim the 5 year warranty. I thought, this must have just been a fluke and decided to order 4 sets from Fleet Farm on November 4, 2022. The new sets arrived and several of the lights were already flickering and now several have burnt out....though these sets are still lite. Now tonight, I just noticed that the set from last year is now only half working. I called up Inliten again tonight and was told that I could just return the light I just bought at Fleet Farm but there was nothing that they could on the other lights; I could send a complaint letter to their company...only a letter (no email or anyone to handle this over the phone). I get that there are some people trying to abuse a warranty or situation, but I am not. I am a decorator and am willing to pay a higher price for a great product with a great warranty...and by a company that is willing to follow through with on ensuring their product meets the warranty/guarantee displaying on the product. And why put the burden on the consumer to pay for shipping and handling to send them back defective lights when proof can be provided in receipts or photos/video?
