My truck was mistakenly taken to this shop. The guy had to see the work order, saw that it was supposed to go down the street, the tow truck driver confirmed that he saw it. Instead of telling the tow truck driver it was the wrong address, he dug into my car and did a repair. First and foremost, he worked on my car without any kind of work order or authorization from me. The price was more than it would have been if it had gone to the mechanic I chose originally. He also charged me twice on labor due to his own mistake.Business response

We gave the customer an estimate for this repair on Saturday and we were told it would be towed here Monday. When the vehicle arrived on Monday, we asked the driver if this car was for Alvers Auto on Chicks and the driver said Alvers and dropped it off. We do not pay for tows. We have never been given an invoice on work order for a vehicle being towed here because we don't pay for them. This customer was charged the normal customary flat rate for his repair. We actually charged less than flat rate. We also straightened the fan blade for free, the work was done right and is under warranty. Our prices are very competitive and in most all cases, lower than other repair shops because our labor rate is only $75.00 an hour. We do not give refunds for doing good work. The work was authorized. There will be no refund!
