Back in July of 2021 I visited Accuvision for an eye exam. After the exam the Ophthalmologist prescribed me progressive bifocal lenses. Tried as I might, my eyes could not adjust to these lenses, I received sharp pains to the crown of my head. After a second visit, the Ophthalmologist indicated that the results did differ from the initial eye exam and suggested another type of lenses named Occupational bifocal lenses so I agreed to the lenses but I do not agree in being charged any extra payment for said lenses. I was charged for an additional visit and then Accuvision wants to charge me an additional payment for me to receive new lenses. I believe that I should not be charged for new lenses if there was an error made by the Ophthalmologist on my initial lenses prescription.Business response

Good morning-
In this particular case regarding ****************, he was given a very generous offer to have his lenses replaced at 50% off retail since he waited 6 months to make us aware of his problem. Normally when someone has issues with their vision, it is present very quickly after receiving their eyewear. We have a policy that we will remake eyeglasses within 90 days if the prescription changes. Within this time, we also offer a recheck with the optometrist at no charge. All of these issues were explained to **************** prior to him scheduling an appointment. He was also told that he would pay for the refraction. ******** that we use also give us leeway within that 90 days, where they will remake it for us at no charge. Even offering that 50% discount is above and beyond what we normally offer, since the lab doesn't give us any break on the price after that time. If *************** would like to take us up on this offer, he is welcome to contact us.
