Stay away!How does this company have an A+ Rating? I scheduled a fridge repair on 10/29/24. A technician came the next day, ordered the parts and scheduled the next visit on 11/12/24. Oh, and by the way, the charged me $1050 for the parts and **************************** is 11/18 and still I have a broken fridge, nobody showed up and their customer "support" doesn't even speak English.Good luck with dealing these scammers.Review from MARK G

They take your money but never ship the parts, and the customer service always says they will cancel the balance of the order and refund, but 10 of these attempts over 6 months and they still have my money. There's no way to do anything about it. I would never ever do anything involving Sears again. Many, many reviewers appear to have had similar experiences. Parts showing as "in stock", to bait you into paying, then sending updates saying "delayed'... forever. This appears to be a feature not a bug. Intentional theft, in other words. Their owners belong in jail but I bet they aren't even in this country.Review from Tina T

If I could leave a -100 stars, I would. We have had the Sears master protection plan since 2012. It was great however in recent years they started raising the price to ridiculous numbers to push those customers out ours expired August *****. We purchased the Sears home warranty plan that same month, which gave similar benefits, but not the same, which I understood but we have had nothing but trouble ever since They say they will replace your appliance if they can no longer fix it. Thats just a flat out lie my washer started going out in September 2023 December 2023 they admitted they could not get parts to fix it and would send us to the Replacement department. I recorded over 20 phone calls between December and ***** was lied to numerous times finally gave up bought a new washer and dryer now I understand they cant buy you new equipment but we were told there would be a prorated monetary value. I figured it might be 50 bucks or something but was assured oh no they give you a fair price they do this all the time, but we repeatedly were lied to and it was never taken care of.Review from Terry B

The worst service I have ever experience is with A & E Appliance Repair through Sears Home Services. I originally had a technician over that was suppose to fix my washing machine but Sears at that time said it would be too much money so I was to get a credit. Someone was going to call me 24 - 72 hours with an amount. No one called, I called them and was informed that the there was to no credit being offered and the way it looked on their side the technician closed out the service and the washing machine was fixed. Well, I explained that it wasn't fixed and I was suppose to get a credit. Sears customer service said that I need another technician over to properly submit the service call as a washing machine that cannot be fixed, so another appointment was made for 10/31. This technician says they can fix it and orders 4 parts and made an appointment for two weeks out for my washing machine to be serviced. I take a day off and he never showed. I called up to see what happened and I was told "there are no technicians in the area". I asked how can that be when I confirmed the appointment three days in a row and was told by the technician that he would be back 11/15 to fix my washing machine. Well, here we go, no technician was available and now I have to reschedule to 12/2, nothing sooner. I asked if she (Sears ***************** can guarantee that a technician will be in the area on 12/2. She could not. So in order for my washing machine to get fixed I have to take another day off and hope Sear's or A&E can get their scheduling right. Never again.Review from matt T

was charged $360 in labor for a 20 minute job. I was told the one day they can give me a partial credit and the next day that the charge was based on effort and not time. Would never recommend this placeReview from Elianna M

Poor Service. Placed order on 11/2, automated system and online indicates in process with expected delivery date of 11/11 it is now 11/14 with no part or update. No one can help. Avoid at all expense. Just noticed reviews and not expecting a good outcome ??Review from Andrea C

After purchasing a new refrigerator that had a dent in it, this company became the certified technician that I had to deal with to get a new door. On the day of my appointment, about 1 hour before the time window, they messaged me saying per your request my appointment was rescheduled for 3 more weeks! I did NOT request this, in fact I confirmed the appointment many times via their texting program. Nothing could be done, they just decided they didnt have a technician available 1 hour before they were to come. And good luck trying to call this company!Review from Ed D

Appointment for my washing machine repair has been cancelled/rescheduled three times in the past 3 weeks. Calls by me to their "help center" have resulted in reasons for the cancellations as both "parts on backorder"(not true -- I have had the parts for weeks which were ordered by the repair tech during the diagnosis appointment in September) and that appointments are overbooked by the company. Throughout each appointment day I get texts from them indicating expected arrival times which are not fulfilled. There apparently are not any persons in the **** to speak with for help- only oursourced overseas call centers. I'm giving tem one final chance to fulfill the next rescheduled appointment. No holding my breath at this point for a positive outcome.Review from Veronica S

I've been going to h*** with Sears Home Svcs. since Sept. 2024. I bought a washer and dryer. I had the washer for about 4 yrs and need the control board replaced. My protection plan is suppose to end in Dec. 2024. I scheduled a technician to come to my place on 9/30 in the morning. The technician never showed up, someone called me and told me they will be at my house the following Friday. They never rescheduled my appointment and never showed up. They also put in the system that they did come to my house and created an invoice of a charge of service. I had to schedule another appointment for 10/4, and they were a no show. Then I scheduled another one for 10/24 and still a no show. They decided to come to my house unannounced on another day to look at my washer. The technician ordered the part and made my appointment for 11/4 then they went in the system and changed it to 11/11 (veteran's day) which you no they were a no show. I end up still scheduling another appointment this 11/19 on a wed...so will keep you posted. The company is outsourcing their customer service in another country. The technician are with A & E appliance Repair and ***** Repair (something). Everything is BOT. They will try to sell you a plan for $75 a month, its not worth it because they are terrible....like literally ratchet, unbelievable. I will never buy anything from Sears againReview from Dennis L

Called to have to have them repair my refrigerator, tech came to my house opened the doors on the fridge and said I needed a new fan for almost ******. Then he wanted to sell me a service contract for over ******. Don't waste your time.
