***** at Landscrete was contracted to remove and replace a stoop at my house. He agreed to color the poured concrete for an extra cost. The color was to be similar to my sidewalk which is a beige and not gray. ***** confirmed via text message that he would be able to color it for an extra charge. When the stoop was poured, it was gray. He said it would lighten up. Then said it wasn't possible to color concrete (which is untrue). He said that he would compromise and stain the stoop which we agreed but were not happy with that decision but would agree This was October last year (2023). We agreed to try stain in 2024 because it was getting too cold to stain. I reached out to ***** in June of 2024 and he responded what color and we told him. Last text message was June 17th. Never heard from him to do staining. Reached out again to him August 14th. Never heard back from him. Sent certified letter requesting refund. No response.Business response

I understand the priority of the clients when we have to respond to work issues. I want to explain that I responded to her text and told her that I was out of town and when I returned I was going to put the sealer on as we had agreed. Those days were very busy and my schedule was behind. I admit that I did not respond to the last message because I was not going to be able to go on those days anyway and I was waiting for the opportunity to go but I think it was late and that is when she wrote the review. Anyway, finally, I had to go out there after she give me the OK, we went to wash the concrete in the morning and put the sealer on in the afternoon as we had already agreed.
And about the certified letter that she sent, I never received it because she sent it to the previous address. I apologize in advance for what happened but the work was finished as agreed the last time. As a courtesy, I ask if it is possible that you remove my review. Thank you very much.
