On 6/20/2022 I paid the full amount of $370.00 to retrieve my towed vehicle from Rendels Towing located at *****************************************************************. After I got in the vehicle, I immediately noticed the my steering wheel was pulling to the left. I was on a gravel road and could not tell if it could have just been the road. After exiting the tow yard and now on paved road while still in their parking lot, I knew that it was in fact the vehicle not the road. I drove right back around to the towing office. I entered the office to let the man know what was going on and he said he would get management. I am currently still waiting after 30 minutes without any resolve.Business response

We were called to tow the owners Lexus by the local police department for a DUI arrest. Upon arrival, we were informed by the office that there was a biohazard in the vehicle which did not allow us to enter the vehicle and position it on the flatbed to be towed. Our driver accidentally bent the inner tie rod while winching the vehicle onto the bed. Once it was brought to our attention, we immediately accepted liability and repaired the vehicle while the customer waited. Customer was not from the area and we basically dropped everything to get the car fixed so she could be on her way. We feel that we went above and beyond to handle the situation.Customer response

***** Thompsonclayton.After waiting over an hour to speak with the manager he if fact acknowledged the negligence on their part. I was told that he would in fact repair my vehicle. I arrived at the location shortly after 8am which is the time that they opened. I was scheduled to work from **** on Monday 6/20/22. Because of their negligence I was forced to call out of work for the day because of this. He stated to me he did not know how long the repair would take. I notified by employee at 10:16 am that I would not be in on 6/20/22 because of this. A worker handed my keys shortly before 2pm and told me I was all set. I had already called off for the day and feel I should be reimbursed my towing fees because of this. I was charged and not convicted of any crime and that information is totally irrelevant.
