I purchased the echo 58v weed eater , and hedge trimmer and was very satisfied with the products.they performed well, but the batteries need to be replaced and echo has discontinued this system and replaced it with a 56v system. I have always liked echo and this system was highly recommended by friends and coworkers. I feel this was a disappointment for a loyal customerEcho Incorporated Response

I have invested money into Echos 58v lawn system . The system had worked great for me, but the batteries wont take a charge and now unfortunately **** has discontinued their 58v series so Im unable to use my lawn equipment. The new system is not compatible with the older system . I feel that **** has let their customers down by providing an electric line that they no longer support . Echo has always been the star of my lawn equipment and Im highly disappointed. I hope they can make this right .Echo Incorporated Response

I have a 58v Echo blower, string trimmer, edger and chainsaw. When the batteries were working it was a great system. I have 2 2ah and 1 4ah batteries. I already had to get the 4ah battery replaced once under warranty. Now both my 2ah batteries barely last 5 minutes and they don't even work in the blower they came with for more than 5 seconds without it shutting off. I know it's not the blower because it works fine with the 4 ah battery. Now i just have the one battery I can use on all the tools so once that quits working I will just have 4 tools I can't even use since they discontinued this line. They should have had a trade in program for the 58v users. I will NEVER purchase another Echo product again.Echo Incorporated Response

This ********** unassuming- -polite - patient - professional - knowledgeable - responsive - patient - diligent - helpful - MOST helpful - able to communicate - compare ECHO GAS CHAIN SAW models - Patient - an ******** - an ******** in a ****** call center - an ******** LADY who knew her "stuff" - not in a hurry to move THIS CUSTOMER "out-the-door" - responsive - Patient...PATIENT...PATIENT AND CARING. This ********** should be, if she already isn't,,,should be the ECHO INCORPORATED POSTER GIRL. ********* IS - IS - IS the reason I/ we purchased an ECHO CHAIN SAW - MODEL CS 501 P.... the words written /typed above (adjectives) can NEVER express the impact ECHO'S "*******" made on we - WORKING ******** CONSUMERS. the last three years I have purchased an echo, chainsaw, and echo trimmer 2 batteries &. Charger all 58 volt. One of the batteries will not hold charge but the newer of the 2 do now . no, I've been told they have discontinued the 58 V and came out with a new model 56 V that is not interchangeable .was definitely a bad investment not knowing they were going to can this product . What is a very poor choice on my part spending over $500 on this equipment. That is soon to be worthless and not able to use anymore. Not very impressed with echo. Recommend nobody ever buys their products. Glad I didn't buy the mower. I was looking at them last year. Definitely would've been another nail in the coffin. and also, this equipment was just used on my yard and property not use continuously. if the company had any credibility it would replace my equipment with their new and improved. equipment .I know they're not gonna do that. Hope nobody ever buys their equipment again. Ill do my part.Echo Incorporated Response

My review is regarding an Echo back pack blower I purchased for residential use. The blower quit working after six months of routine use under optimal conditions. Even under optimal conditions, use of ************ greater gas, and use of Echo's fuel mixture the blower has died!The ***************** does not offer a streamlined format for customers to address warranty issues.Last I checked, Echo does not publish a customer warranty department number or an address where their junk is to be mailed back to them.Review from Nate N

I purchased the echo 58v brushless handheld blower in 2020. The blower was awesome for about 6 months , sadly it did not last. The battery stopped charging and the charger indicated it was defective. I have searched and searched for a fix. I was disappointed,but loved the blower so much I decided to buy a replacement battery for nearly $200. The new battery lasted less than 4 months with them same results as the first. My mother purchased the same exact blower because she liked mine so much. Unfortunately she purchased hers before the problems with mine. I hoped that my mother would not have the same issues, but unfortunately she did. Her battery had the same exact issues. This is proof that these model batterys are defective. Myself nor my family will ever buy and ex go battery powered product because of this. I have always been told about how reliable and trustworthy The echo products are and maybe their other products are that, but from my experience. I cant trust that anymore and cant afford to spend $200 on a battery every 4 months.Review from John S

Bought a 58v Echo Trimmer Sept 2019 and the battery will not charge any longer. This unit was used only a handful of time at a lake house. As far as I can tell I cannot get the battery any longer or its not supported?! Have owned many ******** tools along the way but will have to start looking elsewhere if I cant get this rectified. What happened to a 5 year stand behind your product warranty if I cant use the device or get parts? Hopefully I can use this tool again as I enjoyed it while it lasted and have always preached the Echo brand.Review from SK C

Purchased an Echo 58v blower from ********** and the battery would not stay charged. The blower was useless within 1 year of purchase. They did not make good on battery and should be forced to recall and replace. DO not purchase Echo products-they do not care about their customer base.Echo Incorporated Response

HAVE PURCHASED AN ECHO 58 VOLT LAWN MOWER, HEDGE TRIMMER, STRING TRIMMER AND BLOWER. PRODUCTS WORKED WELL FOR ME. BATTERIES ARE STARTING TO FAIL. CALLED ECHO ABOUT NEW BATTERIES AND WAS TOLD NO LONGER AVAILABLE. THEY HAVE SWITCHED TO A 56 VOLT SYSTEM. THEY WILL NO LONGER SUPPORT THE THE 58 VOLT SYSTEM. NO BATTERIES OR PARTS.SO I GUESS MY PURCHASES ARE WORTHLESS AND JUST A PILE OF JUNK. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN ECHOS LACK OF SUPPORT FOR THE THE 58 VOLT OWNERS. NOT A NICE WAY TO TREAT LOYAL ECHO CUSTOMERS.WILL I BUY THE 56 VOLT SYSTEM? I WOULD LIKE TO. CONCERNED THAT ECHO WILL SWITCH TO A 60 VOLT SYSTEM AFTER I BUY INTO THE 56 VOLT SYSTEM. FAILING TO GIVE 58V OWNERS SOME TYPE OF COMPENSATION IS A BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE.
