On January 10, 2023 Prairie Walk Dental charged me $600 for the work I was going to have done. When it was paid by my insurance, I should have paid $178.20. They will not reimburse me the $421.80 that was over what I owed. My insurance tried to help. The manager ****** told them on March 16th they were sending a check in the mail. That was a month ago. Now when they call ****** won't get on the phone with them.Business response

Hello-
The claims were closed on 3/7/2023. Our accounting team in ******** writes the checks, and mails to patients once a month. Her refund of $421.80 was sent via check to the patient.

I am rejecting this response because:I still have never received a check or any type of refund from Prairie Walk Dental as of May 15, 2023. I have my statements from my bank that shows that has never been deposited into my account. I would have no other way of cashing it.

Good morning,
We can circle back to this before next weeks check run to confirm that the check is still outstanding. If its still undeposited Wednesday morning, which our A/P team can confirm, we can void and reissue then send it to the office if needed.
This went out in Fridays mail 05/05, which makes it only two weeks today.

I am rejecting this response because:
This is now May 23, 2023. At this time I still have received no refund from my overpayment.They have told BBB and my insurance that a check has been sent multir times. They even included a check number to each of you. All dates they told BBB and dates told to my insurance have been different and the check numbers are different also. Until I receive a refund I will reject this.
All my other mail is delivered with no problem.

I am rejecting this response because:Their response is untrue. I have lived here many years and get mail without the unit number all the time. They said it would be sent to the office and it wasn't. They sent it here without the unit number...dated May 25th...check number *****. Just wanted to show how untruthful this company is. I would appreciate it if you would show this case when people check on them.

After having a cleaning done, they broke my right front crown. I had to go back for a repair/replacement which took numerous visits. They caused me to have nerve pain which is unresolved, they gave me a tooth that was too long, thick, big for my mouth and very white. It is also crooked. They thought it looked great and made it look worse by trying to fix it. Their answer was to whiten the rest of my teeth and possibly remove my perfectly good other front tooth so that they could replace my crown and match them up better, which I refused. I had to pay $600 up front before they touched my mouth, then they needed an additional $227 which were my costs after insurance. Total cost to repair their mistake was $2,524. After damaging my tooth, I refused to go back. They refuse to give me any of my money back. They would not return calls and purposely left me hanging to buy time, which made me unable to be refunded by my credit card companies since too much time had passed. They also have long appointment wait times, people are complaining constantly in the lobby, they overcharge, and they charge $25 per visit for PPE which they do not use. They pulled me aside more than once offering free whitening if I give them a good review. I have been emotionally distraught, financially burdened, and am very self conscious of my ugly mouth. I have nerve pain and sensitivity, lost days off of work for my office visits, and am very upset! They also caused nerve damage after a cleaning for my oldest daughter and my younger daughter had her tooth broken during a cleaning which I had to have repaired elsewhere. They told her how ugly her teeth were, and made her cry. They broke HIPPA rules by discussing my teeth and case to her and others, all in front of people waiting in the lobby. They asked her if she had many boyfriends since she had numerous cavities which is a disgusting comment and unnecessary. This place is dangerous and they do not know what they are doing.
