  Dear all,The day before **************************** partner company Area towing towed my pick up truck and trailer to their yard as per Police instructions.I paid 500$ in cash to Police and 1735$ in cash to towing company to pick it up and to be released. Just driven 300 miles and in **** noticed following.I just noticed looking under the truck that they completely damaged my truck while towing.I need that to be repaired or cost to be reimbursed. Its brand new 2024 truck.If not accepted I will be taking the case to Federal court.Please find attached images and videos.Thanks.Regards,*********************

  Hello, as stated I have included the police report from the person indicating damage on their truck- trailer.

   

  Case Number - 216941

   

  In addition, I will be sending you a photo of the truck and trailer in transit as ****** was driving to tow yard as so you can see there was no damage to the frontal area of the said person's truck.

  I am rejecting this response because:
  First of all the photo is not clear and from the distance. And obviously there was no damage before it was picked up?!!!!
  Area towing made this damage after they towed it without being careful.
  I have confirmation from CdJR (ram dealership) in *********** with estimates and that those damages can only be occured as a result of towing recklessly.
  The estimate doesnt include the replacement of dif cover. The estimate total is 1758.29$ 
  As per estimate the job includes fixing the following damages in result of recklessly towing: air dam front, bracket bumper, bracket charge air c and isolator.
  Also for all the hassle and damaging my vehicle, I would like to claim refund in amount of 1735$.
  total amount requested is 3493.29$.
  They can send me business check or zelle to my number.

  Good afternoon, in response to the complaint, we are not responsible for any damages as declared.

   

  This claimant drove for 300 plus miles after he left our premises, he could have incurred damage at that time.

   

  The mere fact that he was not complaint with the weight limits, and non-compliant with his driver's license, lacks credibility.

   

  At Area Towing, Inc., we stand by our ethics and best work practice.

   

  If the customer feels the need to take further steps, we respect that and have enough evidence to back our decision.

  I am rejecting this response because:
  First of all I do have CDL and its not area towing business to discuss any tickets I have. Also i won the case on court.

  its my own truck and there is no point for me damage my own vehicle.

  Also the estimate from Dodge dealership states those damages can occur only from towing.

  Also how will area towing explain that they arrived immediately after police officer texted them, without making any phone calls. Also how will they explain tax avoidance by taking only taking cash from victims and sharing that with participating to their game parties. That information has been shared to me by their own staff. I know everything.

  I damages to be fixed and my cash i given to be returned. 
  

  Otherwise I will be taking further actions and it cost them much more.

  Date 01-18-24 Around 6:30 pm Driving in a narrow street going head on with a tow truck on agusta off of 25th street So I move over to my right as much as I can he didnt even try to move over broke my side mirror and keeps going I turn around fallow him stop him and tell him what happened and he starts telling me f*** you f*** you that I hit him so I get infront of him to call the cops and he backs up and goes through alleys to lose me (but yet I hit him so hes leaving ) same day I call ********************* they tell md to call the next day so I do and I was told I would get a call back and Im still waiting on a call back this is ridiculous I could have filed a hit and run I have video of when I tried to stop him and hes taking off to be such a big company they are complete idiots and have idiot drivers

  Please note that we also inspected his truck at the scene and there was no damage.

  We at Area towing **** pride ourselves within best work practice, so we invite **** to bring his vehicle to our body shop at Area Towing **** so that we can inspect his truck and if broken we will repair it at no cost to ****.

  On Sep 16 i parked my truck at **** s wolf and it got towed. Bussiness advertise as truck stop on my truck driver app. There are no visible sign on the parking lot about towing. Other trucks were parked there. That was Saturday Sep 16 at 10 am. Monday morning Sep 18 i was there and truck was gone. Because of no signs i had to go inside and ask one of the employees what happened. She told me trucks get towed and orovided info of tow company. I have pictures and videos of parking lot with no signs. Employee took me to the front at the entrance and showed there is ****** the way at the bottom of light *** with the *** company charges. I have pictures of that too. After that i went to towing company and the lady who works there told me they gonna charge $1960 I was in shock askin why that much. She told me they charge $700 for tractor and another $700 for trailer plus $140 per day. All together $1960. They charged me double. Sign foes not say that. Towing company name is Area towing & recovery. Address is **********************************************. Phone number **********. So I am comlplaining for both of these companies

  Please note that the referenced location is a private property in which we at Area Towing, **** are in agreement by the property owner and principal to tow any AND all vehicles and semi-trucks unattended. from the lot compliantly and within regulatory standards.

  My truck was locked it is not possible that it got towed separately i also got charged for two days. On the receipt truck got towed Sep 16 2023 at 11:40 pm i picked up my truck on Monday Sep 18 at 8:30 amI sm also providing pictures of screen shot truckers app that it is adversided as truck stop, there is no sign at the entrance that picture is taken On October 1 at that address.  If this does not get resolved i will have to fill out complaint report with ******** ********************* Thank you

  Thank you kindly for the follow up per due diligence of the matter of complaint #********.
   
  Please note that this specified property is a REST STOP, for gas, food etc., as there is a **** located on property for those reasons.
   
  We at Area Towning have an agreement with the principals of the stated property; in which we are responsible to remove/tow any and all Unattended Tractors and Tractor Trailor's accordingly and in compliance with the ICC.  
   
  Please note that the Tractor Trailer had to be towed in two parts due to the size and safety standards.as stated,
   
  I did run this by the President as he said in good faith, he would give ***** another free day of storage, a refund. OF $280.00.  
   
  We at Area take pride in our services and best work practice policies, we hope this will satisfy and help the Customer.
   
  Please advise if amicable how the customer would like his refund.
   
  Lastly, if you would like a copy of our tow agreement with property owners let us know as we can provide,

  I am rejecting this response because:
  This is receipt that lady who works overthere at towing company showed me thru glass divider after that a man showed in the office and they told me two it is gonna be $1960 and she wrote two separate receipts. Since there is no clearly posted signs even on those old pictures is stated vehicles ***** pounds is $700 it does not say it is $700 per unit towing  company should return $980 if not all of it. Offer of $280 is just slap on the face what i have been thru. Thank you
